Katy Perry gave her 203 million Instagram followers a rare glimpse of her daughter in a post on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old pop star shared a photo of Daisy, four, from behind, following her family tradition of not displaying her daughter’s face on social media.

The unusual appearance of Daisy — who was heard singing sweetly in one adorable video — was particularly unexpected, as Katy’s ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom faced criticism from fans just days earlier for posting what many deemed an ‘inappropriate’ photo of the little girl.

Although the 48-year-old Lord Of The Rings actor didn’t show Daisy’s face in the swiftly deleted photo, he stirred controversy by sharing a censored nude image of the girl swimming with him.

Notably absent from Katy’s Instagram update was an hint of her rumored romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Besides updating her fans about her family, Katy also shared the challenges of touring life via a picture of her bloodied knee, which she injured while on the road.

The nepo baby wore a dark-colored dress and had her hair styled in twin buns as she raised her hands to the glass.

Although Katy maintained her daughters privacy by not showing her face, she revealed more about Daisy than usual in an accompany video.

Daisy wasn’t visible in the clip, but her sweet singing voice could be heard as she performed a puppet show with a lion hand puppet bobbing up and down in a small stage setup.

The rest of the Fireworks singer’s post was devoted to creating a portrait of her recent travels since her split from Orlando. 

She opened the slideshow with a silly photo of herself beaming with her eyes closed and one hand in the air as she paused a bike ride.

‘we continue to be on tour,’ she captioned the post, which she limited comments on. 

The few comments that made it in under the wire were exclusively adoring, a far cry from the critical comments Katy’s ex Orlando received after he posted — and then quickly deleted — a far more risqué photo of their daughter.

Over the weekend he shared a carousel on his own Instagram page that included a photo of himself carrying Daisy and stepping into the waves for a swim.

Commenters harshly criticized the actor for the photo because Daisy — who was pictured from behind — was apparently nude in the original version of the photo.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star then deleted the photo and reposted it with a yellow heart censoring his daughter’s backside, though it was still clear that she was topless.

Orlando — who infamously went completely nude on a paddle boarding excursion with Katy in 2016 — was covered up with black swim trunks in the picture.

Social media users were outraged by his actions and branded him ‘out of touch’ for the post and ‘detached from reality.’

Taking to Reddit, one said: ‘Some parents are such idiots. They don’t post this child’s face on social media, so they do understand privacy but then post a naked pic. Make it make sense.’

Another agreed, adding: ‘I can’t help but feel like you have to be so out of touch to think it’s okay to post a naked photo of your daughter, to a huge fanbase, and not consider the repercussions.

‘I can understand how that might be a meaningful photo for a parent, but not on the interweb for millions to see.’

A third chimed in: ‘Poor thing. I know having everything you desire would be nice, but having a celeb as a parent sounds like a special kind of headache for kids. Having a guardian so detached from reality is scary.’

‘Do people not have common sense?’ asked another. ‘Why are you posting your four-year-old naked on social media?

‘I’m not saying him posting it was ill-intent or anything, but there are people on social media who will use it for ill-intent and inappropriate reasons.’

Others came to Orlando’s defense.

Commenting on the Instagram, one said: ‘She’s gonna be four… I don’t understand everyone’s comments here. She’s going swimming with her father. Again she is four. This is not, not a normal thing… he covered her butt in the picture.. 

‘I used to run around naked until I was almost seen and a lot of the kids I grew up with did also. It’s innocent and the fact that people are trying to make it weird ARE WEIRD AF.’

Another added: ‘Why are people saying protect the child… Jeez my childhood photos would have had loads of stickers over them, bare butts everywhere [sic].’
