There has been considerable attention on a recent video clip where Keith Urban altered the lyrics of his song, originally about Nicole Kidman, to mention a young female guitarist. Now, another video has emerged that raises even more questions.

This news follows Kidman, aged 58, filing for a divorce after 19 years of marriage. Insiders close to Nicole claim that Keith may already be involved with a ‘younger woman in the music industry’.

The Australian country singer is once again at the center of speculation following his separation from his Oscar-winning spouse. This comes from an uncovered concert video featured on TMZ where he professed his ‘love’ for 25-year-old musician Maggie Baugh.

During a Las Vegas concert at Mandalay Bay on April 1, Keith teamed up with Maggie, a guitarist over thirty years his junior, to perform The Fighter.

Amidst the recent buzz surrounding the pair, fans are likely to be startled as Keith gestures towards Maggie just before singing, ‘I was born to love you.’

The two certainly seemed to be enjoying making beautiful music together.

At 57, Keith Urban surprisingly pointed to 25-year-old guitarist Maggie Baugh and sang ‘I was born to love you’ during a performance of The Fighter in a resurfaced clip from an April 1 concert in Las Vegas (shown on stage in 2024).

Keith later pointed her once again and tweaked the lyrics to: ‘Maggie, I’ll be your fighter.’

After the performance the two musicians gave each other a warm hug.

This comes after Keith and Maggie had fans talking when he changed the lyrics to that same song The Fighter at a recent concert.

The footage was shared by his guitarist Maggie on Instagram on Saturday, and shows Keith singing: ‘When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.’

The original lyric goes: ‘When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter’.

The 2016 song, which originally featured Carrie Underwood, is about the early stages of a relationship when things could go either way.

It is not known how Baugh originally captioned the clip, yet after Urban’s split from Kidman was made public she edited the wording.

The new caption, uploaded on Wednesday, read: ‘Did he just say that’ alongside mind-blown emojis.

Nicole and Keith have dominated headlines since news of their break-up emerged this week, along with a wave of speculation about what went wrong between them (pictured in January)

Maggie shared the clip on social media on Monday. It is not known how she originally captioned the clip, yet after Keith's split from Nicole was made public she edited the wording

Fans have now commented on the video: ‘OK, dumping Nicole is looking more suspect’;

‘Wow, that song was made for Nicole. For him to do that that tells us what he’s really all about’;

‘It is so trashy to do this to a song inspired by his wife. It’s the ultimate ick.’

Nicole filed for divorce from her soon-to-be ex-husband on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences.

The Oscar winner and the musician have been kept apart of late due to their hectic filming and touring schedules.

An insider previously told the Daily Mail that Kidman was left ‘blindsided’ by the split – though it now appears she was the one to hammer the final nail into the coffin.

Since the news, a source claimed to the Daily Mail that Urban has already moved on with a younger woman in the music industry.

The well-placed Nashville music business PR source said: ‘The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.’

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Kidman and Urban for comment and has yet to hear back.

The former couple share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise, 63, for 11 years from 1990 to 2001 . They adopted two children together: Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30.

Those in Kidman’s circle say that merely the suggestion of him with someone else after their separation has been difficult for her to process.

The Australian actress and Urban were last seen together publicly in June this year, when they were pictured attending a FIFA World Cup match in Nashville, Tennessee.

The country star has been away for much of the year on his High and Alive World Tour. He is due to perform in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Thursday.

Kidman and the children have remained in Nashville, where the couple own a $4million compound.

Meanwhile, Kidman made headlines last year with her appearance in erotic movie, Babygirl, but confessed to ‘hating’ having to film so many sex scenes and struggling to cope.

Her admission that she ‘didn’t care if I am never touched again in my life’, has been viewed in a new light, after she filed for divorce from husband Keith Urban on Tuesday.

Babygirl saw Nicole play a high-powered married company boss who falls for a kinky young intern, played by Harris Dickinson, 29.

And while her performance won rave reviews, the Oscar winner confessed that shooting the steamy project caused her to suffer ‘burnout’.

Speaking to The Sun last October, she revealed: ‘There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It’s like, “Don’t touch me”. ‘

There were times when we were shooting where I was like, “I don’t want to orgasm any more. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it”.’

Nicole went on: ‘It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.’

In July, Urban hinted at trouble in the marriage when he abruptly hung up during a radio interview following a crude question about Kidman’s raunchy scenes in Babygirl and A Family Affair.

For her part, and while promoting her Netflix series The Perfect Couple back in September last year, Kidman admitted there was no such thing as a ‘perfect’ marriage.

‘There’s no perfect anything,’ she said, ‘anything that’s presented as perfect… forget it.’

Earlier that year, Kidman said she was ‘so lucky’ to have met the singer.

‘I’m so lucky that I have Keith who’s just my love, my deep, deep love,’ she told People magazine.

‘I’m so lucky that I have Keith… that gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back,’ she added.

The news of their split comes just weeks after Kidman marked nearly two decades of marriage with Urban by sharing a heartfelt tribute to the country star on their 19th wedding anniversary.

To mark the occasion, the Big Little Lies star posted a tender black and white photo of the couple sharing a quiet moment backstage at one of his shows.

In the image, the Oscar winner can be seen with one arm draped lovingly over her husband’s shoulders as he held her hand.

The happy couple both closed their eyes as Kidman rested her forehead against Urban’s head.

‘Happy Anniversary Baby @KeithUrban,’ she captioned the post, which received more than 25,023 likes in less than an hour.

Within minutes, the Somebody Like You hitmaker commented a single red heart emoji.

The pair wed back in 2006 during a traditional Catholic ceremony at the Cardinal Cerretti Chapel in her hometown of Sydney.

Kidman and Urban married five years after her split from actor Cruise.

Elsewhere, Kidman’s heartbreaking words about her love for ‘crush’ Urban have resurfaced following the news she has filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage.

Kidman never intended for her marriage to end, and had always planned to grow old with Urban.

In 2009, Nicole told Access Hollywood: ‘I want to be in love for the rest of my life. I want to be an old woman still married to Keith, and looking back going, “what a lovely, lovely journey together.”‘

Elsewhere, speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show in 2017, Nicole recalled: ‘I had such a crush on Keith, and he wasn’t interested in me. He didn’t call me for four months.’

In recent years, Kidman has been taking on a string of racy roles, notably starring in erotic thriller Babygirl last year.

It was also reported last year that Urban had to take a step back from seeing her as his wife while she was filming racy scenes with other men.

Her candid comments have been reappraised following her separation from musician Keith, 57, after 19 years of marriage, with their busy work schedules and a lack of intimacy being claimed at the reason for the breakup (seen in 2017)

It was also reported last year that Urban had to take a step back from seeing Kidman as his wife while she was filming racy scenes with other men (seen in 2017)

A source told Daily Mail: ‘He removes himself from seeing her as his wife and supports her and enjoys the work.’

The insider added: ‘When Keith is watching her work, he sees it as her art. She is playing characters – she isn’t playing Nicole Kidman.

‘Keith isn’t wincing during these types of scenes, he knows it is just part of the story.’

However, in July, Urban abruptly ended an interview when questioned about his Nicole’s recent sex scenes –  indicating he could have been struggling to deal with that aspect of her career.

The singer had called into the Mix102.3 Adelaide radio show Hayley & Max in the Morning in Australia to promote a series of upcoming shows.

The interview began innocuously enough with Keith saying he always enjoyed playing in Adelaide, yet things quickly got uncomfortable when the singer took part in a radio game titled Wall of Truth.

He was quizzed about his wife appearing in ‘love scenes’ causing him to abruptly quit the interviews he was doing via Zoom.

Host Max Burford asked: ‘What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron, having these beautiful love scenes?’

But, Keith did not reply and it was revealed he had left the Zoom call, with a programme producer heard explaining: ‘I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question’.

But an insider later insisted that Keith had nothing to do with the disconnection and that he ‘did not hang up, period.’

They added: ‘He doesn’t host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger.’
