Kim Delaney has been arrested on suspicion of felony assault following an alleged domestic disturbance with partner James Morgan.

The NYPD Blue star was taken into custody on Saturday at 10:15am, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, after she and Morgan were arrested at her Marina Del Rey home.

The pair was involved in a heated altercation that reportedly turned physical before paramedics arrived on the scene, according to TMZ. After they were medically cleared, officers arrested Delaney and Morgan.

Delaney was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, while Brown received a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

The Emmy-winning actress’ latest arrest comes with several brushes with the law and a years-long struggle with alcoholism, including a drunk driving arrest in 2002 that resulted in her being dropped from CSI: Miami the next year and entering rehab. In 2005, she lost custody of her teenage son after driving with him while intoxicated.

Delaney was most recently sued for an alleged hit-and-run that took place in November 2022.
