Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have been seen for the first time since they got married in what’s being called ‘the wedding of the century’.

The newlyweds smiled and waved at cameras as they stepped out in Venice today ahead of another star-studded party this evening.

Leaving the Aman hotel this morning as the new Mrs. Bezos, Sanchez exuded effortless style in a chic black mini dress, dark sunglasses, and a sizable Panama hat.

This week, Sanchez showcased a stunning white diamond, estimated at 35 carats and valued at $10 million, but it seems she chose not to wear her new ring for today’s appearance.

Sanchez first showed of the oval-cut ring when she stepped out in a Schiaparelli gown that she paired with the stunning sparkler designed by jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.

Schwartz has also designed for celebrities including Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and Isha Ambani, who had a star-studded wedding of her own in 2018.

Of course, the multi-million dollar ring wasn’t the biggest expense of the weekend, which is said to cost $20 million.

The couple also splashed out on her custom Dolce & Gabbana gown, as well as the other designer outfits she wore throughout the weekend from Schiaparelli, Dior and more.

Bezos, who sported a brown t-shirt and chinos, was pictured helping his wife onto a water taxi shortly before they arrived hand in hand for lunch at the iconic Harry’s Bar, which was once frequented by the likes of Ernest Hemingway and Charlie Chaplin.

The 61-year-old Amazon founder and the former journalist exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 VIPs on San Giorgio Maggiore island on Friday.

Moments after saying ‘I do,’ the bride, 55, took to Instagram to show off her stunning Dolce & Gabbana gown as she shared a loved-up snap of her and her new husband together.

Following the ultra-exclusive ceremony, the billionaire couple threw a star-studded reception attended by high-profile guests, including the Kardashian sisters, Oprah Winfrey, Ivanka Trump, Usher, and Orlando Bloom.

The extravagant affair – reportedly costing $20million and drawing ire from locals – was capped off with an eyebrow-raising gift from the bride.

Their latest outing comes as the happy couple gets ready for a final night of celebrations.

Preparations have been underway today for another A-list party at the Venetian Arsenal.

The three-day gala will culminate tonight with a closing party in a former medieval shipyard where Lady Gaga and Elton John are expected to perform.

Dozens of private jets flocked to Venice this week, and yachts pulled into the city’s famed waterways ahead of the couple’s nuptials.

Athletes, celebrities, influencers and business leaders converged to revel in extravagance that was as much a testament to the couple’s love as to their extraordinary wealth.

Last night’s celebrations went on until 2am when guests left in a flotilla of water taxis.

But amid the opulence taking over Venice this week, demonstrators have united under the banner ‘No Space for Bezos’ to protest the nuptials, while also drawing attention to overtourism, high housing costs and the constant threat of climate-induced flooding in the lagoon city.

Fury from locals has been brimming in the past week towards the couple for ‘taking over the city’, forcing them to hire a team of former US marines for security.

Protests forced the couple to change one of the venues for their wedding.

Earlier this week, Greenpeace activists unfurled a huge banner the square showingBezos’ face and the slogan: ‘If you can rent Venice for your wedding then you can pay more tax.’
