A self-described ‘lazy mum’ has shared her hack to hassle-free Mexican nights and it is guaranteed to save you time washing up.
The mum uses a chip and dip serving plate when her family has tacos, arranging all of the ingredients neatly in around the centre which she fills with cheese.
‘Then you don’t have to wash all the dishes,’ she wrote alongside a picture of her taco platter.

The mum managed to fit cheese, coriander, brown rice, corn, tomato, onion and black beans on the serving tray.
She then served the sour cream and salsa separately, in their own jars.
And people were thrilled with the handy suggestion which spells the end of endless tiny bowls on Mexican night.
‘Mind blown,’ one woman said.
While others posted clapping and love-heart eyed emojis.
Others revealed they already use the handy hack and said it definitely ‘makes everything a lot easier’.
While some added their own taco-night tricks in the comments.
The mum’s hack is said to make cleaning up after taco night much easier
‘I put them in paper bowls,’ one woman said.
‘I put them in their leftover containers and line them up in the kitchen for an assembly line, or as we call it, ‘makin’ station’,’ said another.
‘I just put all of mine on a regular plate,’ one mum added.
Recipe for 15-minute tacos
* 6 mini tortillas
* 3 capsicums (red, orange and yellow)
* 400g tomato sauce with sundried tomatoes
* 200g minced beef
* 100g corn
* 1 avocado
* 75g chorizo
1. Cut chorizo into cubes. Fry the minced meat and chorizo.
2. Cut capsicum and add them to the meat.
3. Stir in sundried tomatoes and tomato sauce.
4. Fry tortillas in a pan for 15 sec each. Cut avocado in the meantime.
5. Fill tortillas with meat sauce and add avocado on top.
