Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s storied wedding is going to have some of the most eligible bachelors in the world. 

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, and the newly-single Orlando Bloom were at the forefront of the gathering in Venice, Italy on Thursday, marking the beginning of the year’s most eagerly awaited wedding celebrations.

As those three were not suave enough, Usher and Corey Gamble led some of the good-looking taken men at the star-studded event.

The handsome bunch were just some of the many celebrities who shrugged off raging protests by the Italian locals.

Leonardo, 50, looked skinny as he sported a black suit over a beige polo shirt.

Even though Leonardo DiCaprio opted for a slightly more formal look than usual, he couldn’t resist incorporating his trademark style by wearing a black Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap.

Tom Brady and newly-single Orlando Bloom were among the prominent figures leading the stylish assembly in Venice, Italy on Thursday, the opening day of the year’s highly anticipated wedding events.

Tom, 47, and Orlando, 48, no doubt will be two of the most sought-after for a chat from single women during the festivities.

However, the two eligible bachelors shared a water taxi while heading to the event as they were out to prove that teamwork makes the dream work.

Former husband of Gisele Bundchen, Tom,  donned a white dress shirt  with the top few buttons undone.

He flashed his signature pearly whites as he also donned a pair of black designer shades.

Orlando matched his buddy Tom in a crisp white dress shirt as his short locks were elegantly disheveled.  

It was claimed on Wednesday that Orlando and fiancee Katy Perry had called it quits following weeks of escalating tension after nearly a decade of their on–off relationship, six years of being engaged and one child together.

For weeks fans have been speculating all is not well between the pair after Katy, 40, was seen without her engagement ring.

Yet the pop star – who is currently on a world tour – and Orlando, 48, have refused to comment on the speculation, with sources claiming they were hoping to work through their rough patch for the sake of their daughter Daisy Dove, four.

The actor will attend the billionaire’s Italian nuptials without Perry, 40, who is away on tour.

A source told TMZ earlier this week: ‘He’s the life of the party and he’s gonna hit the dance floor hard!’ and added he may even ‘sneak away with Leonardo DiCaprio for some bar crawling.’

Another source said: ’90 per cent of the people at the wedding are kinda boring, but 10 per cent are really fun, including Orlando, Leo and Jeff (Bezos). It’s gonna be a great party!’

Katy and Orlando were last pictured together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March, where they posed for red carpet snaps.

Kris is a close friend to the bride Lauren as she attended her Paris bachelor party with daughter Kim Kardashian. 

Meanwhile, the Amazon billionaire and his bride-to-be are said to have invited 200 people to their three-day Italian wedding, which is due to kick off on Thursday and end on Saturday.

On Tuesday, a copy of the couple’s invite was leaked with one very specific request made on behalf of the couple.

They’ve asked guests not to buy them any presents and told them they’ll be making donations to multiple charities working to stop Venice from sinking on attendees’ behalf instead.

The star-studded guest list includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, and Tom Brady.

Jeff Bezos and Sofia Vergara were also seen heading to the festivities

Bezos is worth around $224.6 billion and is thought to be spending tens of millions on his wedding.

Greenpeace and the UK-based collective Everyone Hates Elon have joined protests in Venice attempting to disrupt, or even prevent, the planned wedding celebrations of Amazon founder Bezos this week.

‘Jeff Bezos is the second-richest man in the world yet is reported to pay a 1.1 percent true tax rate,’ the two groups said in a joint statement. ‘The multi-million-dollar wedding is reportedly happening over three days, with the wedding ring alone worth as much as $5million.’

A spokesperson from Everyone Hates Elon said: ‘As governments talk about hard choices and struggle to fund public services, Jeff Bezos can afford to shut down half a city for days on end just to get married.’

Venice mayor Luigi Brugnaro and regional governor Luca Zaia have spoken out in favor of the nuptials, which have been dubbed, ‘the wedding of the century,’ pointing out that the celebrations are expected to bring $23-34million to local businesses.

‘This is a city that handles 150,000 people a day,’ Zaia told Italian daily Corriere della Sera. ‘George Clooney, François-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek, Alexandre Arnault, Elton John and many others got married here.’

Bezos has also pledged to make sizable charity donations, including $1.16million to Corila – an academic consortium dedicated to studying Venice’s lagoon ecosystem – according to Corriere della Sera and Italy’s ANSA news agency.

Earlier this month, anti-Bezos banners were hung in Venice from St. Mark’s Tower with ‘Bezos’ in blue capital letters and a red X over it as part of a ‘No Space for Bezos’ campaign, a play on Bezos’ Blue Origin spaceflight venture.
