Lily Allen continued her celebratory streak on Sunday night, reveling in the triumph of her latest album, “West End Girl.”

The 40-year-old singer, who famously abstains from alcohol, was spotted leaving the celebrity-favored Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. She turned heads in a chic outfit consisting of a crop top, mini skirt, and knee-high boots.

Accompanied by her close friend, actor Daniel Nguyen, Lily added a stylish brown leather jacket and sunglasses to her ensemble.

Over the weekend, Lily humorously addressed her split from actor David Harbour, 50, much to the amusement of her fans.

The previous evening, Lily embraced the Halloween spirit at Chateau Marmont by dressing as Madeline, the beloved character from Ludwig Bemelmans’ classic series. This costume choice followed the release of her provocative song titled “Madeline.”

Celebrating Halloween the night before, Lily dressed up as Madeline after the release of her explosive song of the same name – but stripped off to reveal this sexy outfit and showed her ex exactly what he was missing after he contributed to her low self-esteem

Lily’s Madeline costume was based on the character from the series by Ludwig Bemelmans and was the same pseudonym she gave to the woman who had an affair with David 

The record is her first in seven years and was made in the wake of her devastating split from Dave last December after Lily discovered his three-year affair and slew of infidelities, (pictured in 2022)

Her new album, which delves into her ex-husband’s infidelity and their subsequent separation, provocatively features the line, “Who the f*** is Madeline?” in a nod to the semi-autobiographical nature of her work.

The singer addresses David’s infidelity with lyrics: ‘I can’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth.’ 

The song, Tennis, sees Lily namecheck a woman, who she interrogates her partner about after seeing a text message from her appear on his phone.

The record comes after a turbulent time in Lily’s life following the breakdown of her marriage in December 2024, after she accused David of having multiple affairs including a his three-year affair with a younger costume designer who was later exposed as being a woman called Natalie Tippett. 

Lily discussed how her ‘sex addict’ ex-husband’s disinterest in her made her question whether she should have a facelift in her song, Just Enough and how she was left feeling ‘old and drawn.’

And in the song Madeline, she asks: ‘Do you two ever talk about me? Has he told you that he doesn’t love me? I bet he tells you, tells you he loves you, I’ve gotten old, gotten ugly.’  

Lily’s hilarious Madeline costume came complete with an orange wig, blue Gucci coat and hat as she was surrounded by all her friends who wanted to celebrate her success.

In another snap from the weekend, Lily showed off her amazing figure in a plunging sheer black silk lace dress which boasted a halter neckline

Lily ended up in rehab when her marriage first broke down, admitting she ‘wanted to die’, struggled to eat and feared relapsing on drink and drugs 

She soon whipped off her coat to reveal a racier outfit beneath, a plunging see-through white lace top and frilly knickers, which showed David exactly what he was missing.

Lily admitted to having a boob job in March 2025, stating she got the procedure to help with her body proportions after losing weight and showed off her new-found confidence in the number.

Her decision to dress as Madeline sent a clear message to her ex that she is no longer devastated by their split.

But she has since said she no longer feels as she did then. 

Moreover, Lily’s Instagram Stories were full of people who had dressed up as Madeline or those whose costumes had been inspired by some of the scathing lyrics inspired by her ex. 

Someone even dressed as the Duane Reade carrier bag she references in her song Pussy Palace – a bag she claims she found in Harbour’s West Village apartment and gave an insight into some of his sexual behaviour. 

She sings: ‘Duane Reade bag with the handles tied. Sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside. Hundreds of Trojans, you’re so f***ing broken. How’d I get caught up in your double life?’  

Two weeks ago, Lily hinted that her ex-husband ‘refused to give answers’ when asked about his three-year affair with a younger colleague. 

Meanwhile, Mail On Sunday reported over the weekend that David faced an internal enquiry after British actress Millie Bobby Brown, 21, allegedly complained about his behaviour towards her ahead of filming the final season of the Netflix show. 

The singer officially split with the Stranger Things star when she discovered his three-year affair and profile on celebrity dating app, Raya.

Lily has been able to move on and parody her own heartache while her ex has become the butt of the joke from her album which she says is based on her life but with an element of ‘artistic licence.’ 

And while Lily has been celebrating critical acclaim with her first album in seven years, it seems her cheating ex-husband isn’t having the best time of it. 

The Mail On Sunday reported over the weekend that David faced an internal enquiry after British actress Millie Bobby Brown, 21, allegedly complained about his behaviour towards her ahead of filming the final season of the Netflix show.

There are said to have been ‘pages and pages of allegations’ and as a result Millie had a personal representative with her on set while filming.

But weeks before the claims emerged, David spoke to Esquire Spain about his paternal-style relationship he says he had with the younger cast members and the advice he would give to them.

Speaking to the publication, David said of Millie Finn Wolfhard, 22, Noah Schnapp, 21, Caleb McLaughlin, 24, Sadie Sink, 23, and Gaten Matarazzo, 23: ‘They’re all pretty good kids.’

Sharing his advice, he said: ‘One of the real ropes to hang on to in this business for me has been the artistry of what you’re doing.’

He continued: ‘One of the things that you can control is your particular passion for storytelling, for art, for what you want to say, your voice.’
