EXCLUSIVE: Tony-nominated Lily Rabe has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas.
Rabe is known for her multiple roles in Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series American Horror Story, for which she received a Critics Choice TV nomination, her recurring role as Meg in Apple’s Shrinking and her role as Dr. Liz Rush opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in Presumed Innocent, also for Apple.
Rabe also starred in, co-produced and co-directed Downtown Owl with her husband Hamish Linklater, which premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. She won Special Jury Recognition for Best Actress at SXSW for her role in the film Miss Stevens opposite Timothée Chalamet. Other film credits include Adam McKay’s Vice, The Tender Bar opposite Ben Affleck and directed by George Clooney, and All Good Things with Ryan Gosling. Rabe can soon be seen in romance drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey opposite Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell.
On stage, Rabe is best known for her role in The Merchant of Venice, which earned her a Tony award nomination for Best Actress in a Play. She recently was nominated by the Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Lead Performer in a Play for her role in Ghosts. Other theater credits include Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, Theresa Rebeck’s Seminar and Shakespeare in the Park’s As You Like It and Much Ado About Nothing.
