Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson of Greater Manchester Police has officially stated that the incident at a synagogue in Manchester is classified as a “terrorist incident.” The investigation is currently under the direction of counter-terrorism police. Two individuals from Manchester’s Jewish community lost their lives in the attack, while others are still recuperating from their injuries.
