Lori Loughlin has split from husband Mossimo Giannulli after a 28-year marriage.

‘They are living separately and taking a break from their marriage. Currently, there are no legal actions being taken,’ stated Loughlin’s representative, Elizabeth Much, as reported by People.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment and has yet to hear back.

The separation follows sightings of the actress apparently being consoled by Anne Heche’s ex-partner and her former co-star, James Tupper, outside the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Born in Queens, New York, the 61-year-old actress collaborated with Tupper, 60, in the 2023 TV movie “Fall Into Winter” and later worked together in the 2024 film “A Christmas Blessing.”

In May 2020, Loughlin and her husband Giannulli, 62, pleaded guilty in connection with conspiracy charges in the college admission bribery case.

Loughlin, known for her role on the popular sitcom Full House and its continuation on Netflix, was sentenced to two months in jail, alongside a $150,000 fine and 150 hours of community service, after pleading guilty.

This comes after the star was seen apparently being comforted by Anne Heche's ex and her former co-star James Tupper outside the Bird Streets Club in LA - the day before the split became public

This event followed sightings of the actress with James Tupper, who appeared to be comforting her outside the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles, just a day before news of the separation became public.

Loughlin, who portrayed Rebecca ‘Aunt Becky’ Katsopolis on the family show, began serving her sentence at a federal prison in Dublin, California, in October 2020 and was released in December of the same year.

Loughlin’s husband Giannulli received a five-month sentence with a fine of $250,000 and 250 hours of community service.

Giannulli began his prison sentence in November of 2020.

The fashion designer was transferred to home confinement in April of 2021, about a month before his sentence ended.

The celeb couple were busted in what was called Operation Varsity Blues – a massive nationwide scandal which involved 33 parents.

At the center of the case was Loughlin and Giannulli’s youngest daughter, influencer Olivia Jade, 26. (They are also parents to Isabella Rose, 27.)

In YouTube videos posted before the scandal erupted, Olivia told fans she didn’t ‘really care about school’ and was more interested in the social scene as she prepared for her upcoming college experience.

The influencer gave her followers advice on applying to university – just days before federal agents arrested her parents for their involvement in the conspiracy.

She has since apologized for the comments, and has returned to social media after a brief hiatus when the scandal unraveled in March 2019.

Earlier this year, she insisted she was a ‘straight A student’ who ‘worked really hard’ in high school even before her parents paid $500,000 for her to get into the University of Southern California.

Professionally, Loughlin’s legal troubles kept her sidelined from Fuller House’s fifth season and her return to the small screen came late last year appearing on a two-part Christmas special for the series When Hope Calls.

She appeared on her first red carpet in the wake of the scandal in June of 2022 when she made an appearance at RJ’s Place for the DesignCare 2022 Gala, benefitting the HollyRod Foundation.

Loughlin last year spoofed the legal mishap opposite Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm in the sixth episode of the show’s 12th season.

Loughlin played a fictionalized version of herself, seeking David’s help in helping her rejoin exclusive golf club after she was kicked out following the scandal.

David has second thoughts after Loughlin, an avid golf enthusiast, engages in ruthless tactics once she’s let back into the club with David’s help.

Executive producer Jeff Schaffer told The Hollywood Reporter ‘We called her manager up, who loved it, and who then talked to Lori, and she said: “I’m in, I’m totally game.”

‘And she was. She was so great. Everything we threw at her, she was game to do. She makes the episode. I’m so glad she wanted to do it.’
