Ohio Lottery says all prize cashing services restored after cybersecurity incident

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A northwestern Ohio player has won $1,000 a day for life after winning the top prize in a draw game on Thursday.

The winner bought the winning ticket in a multi-state draw game called Lucky for Life, making them the first winner in Ohio for the game this year.

The Ohio Lottery said the player purchased their ticket at Walt Churchill’s Market, located at 3320 Briarfield Blvd. in Maumee.

The winning numbers were 2-5-11-14-28, and the Lucky Ball was 18. The player chose their numbers.

The winner matched all five white balls to win the top prize of $1,000 a year for life. The store will also receive a $57,500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The odds of matching five out of five white balls are 1 in 30,821,472. The last Lucky for Life top prize-winning ticket sold in the state was on November 18, 2024.
