Hiring a 12th-Century villa in Tuscany with staff including a Michelin-starred chef at the helm in the kitchen is a  luxury usually reserved for life’s lucky millionaires.

However, an Italian beer company says it will cover the cost of a luxury stay in the lavish 18-bedroom home, which has swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, games room and even its own dance floor, after launching a competition.

The stunning villa, set in the rolling Tuscan hills between Florence and Siena, which has an olive mill, was owned for centuries by a Roman noble family and dates back to the 1400s.

Those who are successful will bag not only a stay at the property, but an immersive experience bursting with Italian culture.

Guests will learn how to cook authentic Italian pasta – with a masterclass from locals, and will enjoy the art of aperitivo, the Mediterranean ritual of a pre-meal drink with a delicious snack. And there’s the chance to take a tour  through Tuscany’s landscapes in a historic Piaggo Ape vehicle.

And there’s no shortage of decadent Tuscan food on offer too. While lounging by the swimming pool guests can tuck into a world-famous artisan gelato from a  parlour in nearby San Gimignano.

Famed for its simple, quality ingredients, and hosted by master gelato maker Sergio Dondoli, the gelato was named the best in the world at the 2009 ice cream awards.

Alongside the gelato, guest can also enjoy a Michelin star-inspired dinner served by Michelin star chef Viviana Varese.

A lucky few will be able to savour her experimental dishes that pay homage to the best of Italian cuisine, unlocking the perfect harmony of traditional seasonal flavours and modern culinary technology.

To win a stay, Birra Moretti are asking fans to ’embrace their inner Italian’ in a Instagram contest which will see competitors take part in series of  social challenges inspired by the Italian way of living.

At each stage, an authentic Italian host shares Italian social challenges, and encourages followers to share a video with their Italian social challenge.

Contestants post their content, whether a reel, video or photo, follow @birramoretti and and tag #liveitalian, and the best authentic non-Italian (selected by Birra Moretti) will win the key to stay at the Villa in October.
