Macy’s is gearing up to introduce seven exciting new floats at the 2025 Thanksgiving Day Parade, including the smallest one to ever feature in the event.
As anticipation builds for the annual holiday tradition, the iconic department store has revealed its fresh lineup of floats, which will join the existing fleet of 28 in this year’s spectacle.
Capturing the spirit of the Gen-Z phenomenon, Labubus will make their inaugural appearance on a grand float called “Friendsgiving in Popcity.” The vibrant creation will bring Labubu and his counterpart Mokoko to life on the streets of New York City as part of the 99th parade, scheduled for November 27.
The plush toys have been a hit among young people, who eagerly snapped up keychains to adorn their bags earlier this year. Now, these beloved characters will stand 16 feet tall on the float, accompanied by other imaginative creations from Pop Market.
In a nod to the whimsical, Goldfish is unveiling the parade’s smallest float ever, measuring just 14 Goldfish crackers in length. Standing at a mere eight inches tall, this float features intricately detailed fish-shaped crackers.
The design includes a snow tube slope, complete with a giant snow Goldfish perched atop, as tiny crackers slide down the mountain, adding a playful touch to the parade’s festivities.
Lego will also debut a new float this year based on one of its sets. Similar to Goldfish, it features a ski slope and holiday characters like a snowman and a reindeer, as well as a yeti.
The chocolate company Lindt also has a gorgeous float gearing up to grace the Midtown streets for all the nation to see.

The tiniest float in the parade measures eight inches tall and 14 Goldfish crackers wide
It’s Master Chocolatier Ballroom features an elegant design showing a winding staircase leading to a ball of chocolate that has a dancer on top. It also features more than 50 shapes inspired by the red wrapper of its truffle.
Cruise line, Holland America Line, has a majestic float featuring sea creatures and land animals that those cruising around Alaska will get to encounter, including a whale and a moose.
It also features the largest kinetic sculpture in the parade’s history.
Mattress company Serta is debuting a dreamy new float full of clouds, a night sky, and of course, their sheep mascots. It also features Sheep No. 34, who is a ‘Macy’s Parade enthusiast.’
Macy’s in Herald Square is conveniently located on 34th Street in midtown Manhattan.
Popular Netflix show Stranger Things also has a new float ahead of its final season premiere on the streaming platform.
The float will feature the Hawkins National Laboratory and have a Demogorgon puppet. It will also have light and smoke effects.
The parade will also feature 34 balloons, including five new ones. There will be 26 performances, including Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo, who will kick off the gigantic parade that spans 2.5 miles of NYC.

It will also have 11 marching bands, four balloonicles (cycles with inflatables), 33 clown crews, nine performance grounds, and 14 specialty units.
The Radio City Rockettes, who are celebrating 100 years this year, will also be at the parade.
The parade will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock and will begin at 8:30am in all time zones.
