Delaware State Police have taken 27-year-old Troy McNally into custody on numerous felony drug charges after a traffic stop in the early hours of April 3, 2025, in Magnolia, Delaware.
Authorities reported that around 1:45 a.m., a trooper patrolling the vicinity of Walnut Shade Road and Peachtree Run noticed a Nissan Rogue neglecting a stop sign. The trooper conducted a traffic stop, halting the vehicle on Terry Drive in Magnolia.
During the traffic stop, McNally, who was driving the Nissan, was observed by police throwing items out of the car. The troopers retrieved the discarded objects, which were identified as roughly 2.25 grams of heroin, about 6.9 grams of crack cocaine, and 10 pills that were a mix of acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride.
McNally was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 3 for processing. He was formally charged with the following offenses:
Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Tier 2 (Felony)
Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tier 1 (Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tier 2 (Felony)
Tampering with Physical Evidence (Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign
McNally was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of a $35,000 cash bond.
