SPRING VALLEY —
A man was shot in the leg in Spring Valley Saturday night, but officials don’t know what led up to the shooting because the man is not cooperating with law enforcement, a sheriff’s lieutenant said.
Deputies responded to the scene at about 9:30 p.m. on Dale Avenue near Shadow Point Apartments, where they located a man with a gunshot wound, said Lt. Aaron Meleen.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but Meleen did not have information on the severity of his injury.
The man was also arrested for an outstanding felony warrant, Meleen said. Meleen said he didn’t know what the warrant was for. No other information, including the man’s age, was released by sheriff’s officials.
