First Lady Melania Trump exuded elegance in a buttercream yellow skirt suit as she accompanied President Donald Trump to greet King Charles and Queen Camilla during their state visit to Washington.
The quartet posed at the South Portico of the White House, with Melania capturing attention in her striking double-breasted yellow ensemble paired with python-patterned heels by Manolo Blahnik, known for their price tag exceeding $1,000. In contrast, President Trump opted for his quintessential navy blue suit.
Melania’s suit, crafted by designer Adam Lippes, showcased prominent round buttons and a sharp collar. It closely resembles the brand’s Malone Jacket, currently available only in black online for $3,290.
Adam Lippes is also the designer behind Melania’s navy silk wool coat and pencil skirt that she wore for Trump’s inauguration in 2025.
Her characteristic long waves and subtle makeup completed the look, emphasizing her refined style.
For her part, Queen Camilla wore a white chiffon dress with black beaded detailing at the chest by Anna Valentine, also pinning a brooch decorated with both the US flag and Union Jack on it.
The brooch was a gift to Queen Elizabeth II in 1957, during her first state visit to the United States.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to visit from Monday, April 27, through Thursday, April 30, their first official state visit of President Trump’s second term.
However, an urgent security review was under way in light of the dramatic incident in the US capital on Saturday and some ‘modest operational adjustments’ will be made to ‘a few elements’ of Their Majesties’ program.
After they were greeted Monday, they are set to go to the State Floor and sit for tea in the Green Room.
After tea, they will join both The First Lady and President Trump for a tour of the White House Beehive.
Over the next few days, King Charles and Queen Camilla will return to The White House for a number of meetings, including a bilateral meeting between President Trump and the King.
On Tuesday, the President and First Lady will host a State Arrival Ceremony on the South Lawn, followed by remarks by the President.
The King’s visit, to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence from Great Britain, has been more than a year in the making.

Melania wore her hair in her signature long waves and sported neutral makeup
The visit comes just days after suspected gunman Cole Tomas Allen, 31, was arrested at the White House Correspondent’s dinner Saturday, where he stormed the security perimeter.
The ballroom, filled with the nation’s top journalists, Hollywood celebrities, and Cabinet members, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, became a scene of pure pandemonium.
Surveillance footage showed Allen attempted to bolt past a security checkpoint while armed with a shotgun, a handgun and several knives.
He exchanged fire with Secret Service agents before they tackled him to the ground and arrested him. One agent was struck in his bulletproof vest and is expected to recover. No one else was harmed.
As Donald Trump and the First Lady were whisked to safety, terrified attendees took cover anywhere they could as they waited anxiously for news.
President Trump spoke to the press just hours after the incident.
Trump, still wearing his tuxedo, addressed the nation, saying, ‘When you’re impactful, they go after you,’ he said defiantly. ‘They seem to think he was a lone wolf. We’re not going to let anybody take over our society.’
The White House confirmed that the dinner is set to be rescheduled within 30 days, promising an event that is ‘bigger and better.’
