First Lady Melania Trump is threatening legal action against Hunter Biden, demanding a $1 billion compensation after he falsely claimed that she met President Donald Trump through the notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Melania’s attorney has called for Biden to ‘immediately retract the misleading, defamatory, and inflammatory remarks about Mrs. Trump.’
Hunter Biden echoed allegations initially made by Michael Wolff, the author of “Fire and Fury,” during his appearance on a Daily Beast podcast in late July. Wolff suggested that Epstein and President Trump were associated with a ‘model agent’ who supposedly introduced Trump to the First Lady.
The Daily Beast published Wolff’s claims in a story – and has since apologized for it.
The 55-year-old son of ex-President Joe Biden reiterated these claims on Andrew Callaghan’s Channel 5 show on August 5, elaborating on the allegations.
Biden stated, ‘They were well-acquainted and spent considerable time together,’ referring to Trump and Epstein. ‘According to his biographer, Epstein introduced Melania, that’s how the first lady and the president met.’
In correspondence to Hunter Biden and his legal representative Abbe Lowell, the First Lady’s attorney Alejandro Brito described Biden’s statements as ‘false, defamatory, and obscene.’
‘Given your vast history of trading on the names of others-including your surname-for your personal benefit, it is obvious that you published these false and defamatory statements about Mrs. Trump to draw attention to yourself,’ Brito wrote in a letter, first obtained by Fox News.

The letter was dated August 6 and gave the younger Biden until August 7 to comply.
As of Wednesday night, that specific episode of Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan remained on YouTube.
‘These false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory statements are extremely salacious and have been widely disseminated throughout various digital mediums,’ the first lady’s attorney said.
‘Indeed, the Video has since been re-published by various media outlets, journalists, and political commentators with millions of social media followers that have disseminated the false and defamatory statements therein to tens of millions of people worldwide,’ he continued.
‘Consequently, you have caused Mrs. Trump to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm,’ Brito added.
The lawyer asked Biden to ‘immediately issue a full and fair retraction of the Video and any and all other false, defamatory, disparaging, misleading, and inflammatory statements about Mrs. Trump in as conspicuous a manner as they were originally published.’
The former first son must also ‘immediately issue an apology for the false, defamatory, disparaging, misleading, and inflammatory statements about Mrs. Trump,’ Brito said.
Six days have passed since Brito’s deadline.

The lawyer warned in the letter that if Biden didn’t meet the first lady’s demands ‘Mrs. Trump will be left with no alternative but to enforce her legal and equitable rights, all of which are expressly reserved and are not waived, including by filing legal action for over $1 Billion Dollars in damages.’
‘You are on notice,’ Brito concluded.
Her East Wing spokesperson Nick Clemens added: ‘First Lady Melania Trump’s attorneys are actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies by those who spread malicious, defamatory falsehoods.’
‘The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, “Melania,”‘ he added in a statement to the Daily Mail.
A spokesperson for the Bidens, as well as Biden’s attorney, did not immediately respond to the Daily Mail’s requests for comment.
With his father out of office, the younger Biden has made a number of media appearances in recent weeks, first doing a three hour-long interview for Callaghan’s YouTube show.
During that appearance, Biden unleashed f-bomb after f-bomb and explained how to make crack cocaine.
He returned to Callaghan’s show for an encore, where he made the statements in question about the first lady and Epstein.
The president has been under fire for works for not releasing more of the Epstein files – backing away from a campaign pledge to do so.
Wolff, who Melania Trump’s attorney referred to as a ‘serial fabulist,’ attached the first lady to the scandal.

Last week longtime Democratic strategist James Carville said at the top of his Politics War Room podcast that comments made about the first lady were incorrect.
‘We took a look at what they complained about, and we took down the video and edited out those comments from the episode,’ Carville said. ‘I also take back these statements and apologize.’
