At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday evening, Melissa McCarthy turned heads with her noticeably slimmer appearance. The 55-year-old actress, who has shed approximately 95 pounds, made a striking impression in a sleek black gown designed by Christian Siriano.

Adding a touch of elegance, McCarthy’s dress featured a series of gold accents running down the front. She completed her glamorous look with long diamond earrings and a gold clutch purse, exuding sophistication on the red carpet.

During the awards ceremony, McCarthy joined forces with Kathryn Hahn to present the award for Best Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology, or Made-for-Television Movie. The accolade went to Michelle Williams for her role in “Dying For Sex.”

Accompanying McCarthy was her longtime husband, Ben Falcone. The couple, who share two teenage daughters, Vivian, 18, and Georgette, 16, seemed to enjoy the evening’s festivities together.

The Bridesmaids star has sparked Ozempic speculation, but has yet to confirm or deny using the medication to aid in her weight loss journey. 

McCarthy has been open about her weight fluctuating up and down over the years. 

And when it comes to her recent weight loss, it is estimated that the star has lost anywhere from 75lbs to 95lbs. 

‘I’ll be up, I’ll be down, probably for the rest of my life,’ she told Refinery29 back in 2019. 

‘The thing is, if that is the most interesting thing about me, I need to go have a lavender farm in Minnesota and give this up. There has to be something more.’

McCarthy previously talked about not rushing when it comes to losing weight during an appearance on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM in 2018, per Today.
