Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized the State Department after an Israeli official was permitted to leave the country following his arrest in a child sex sting operation.
The vocal GOP Representative reacted to Tom Artiom Alexandrovich’s arrest last week during an undercover mission aimed at apprehending child sex offenders.
Taylor Greene called on the Trump administration to demand Alexandrovich’s return and ensure he faces full prosecution while also voicing disapproval of the US policy regarding Gaza.
‘How did America become so subservient to Israel that we release a CHILD SEX PREDATOR after a firm case with evidence, allowing him to return to Israel?’ she queried in a statement on X.
Alexandrovich allegedly asked an underage decoy to attend a showing of Cirque du Soleil and mentioned bringing a condom.
He is charged with the felony of luring or attempting to lure a child or mentally ill person for sex acts using computer technology, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
The official, a senior leader within Israel’s National Cyber Directorate, has been released by US authorities and is now back in Israel.
The State Department denied any government intervention in Alexandrovich’s case, saying a state judge let him go pending a court date.
However, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson has told 8NewsNow Alexandrovich never saw a judge, merely posted bail and waived his right to a court appearance, as is standard under state law.

Tom Artiom Alexandrovich (pictured), 38 was one of eight people charged last week following an undercover operation ‘targeting child sex predators,’ the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said in a statement issued last week
Alexandrovich was believed to be in the Las Vegas area for Black Hat, one of the cybersecurity industry’s most prominent conferences, was he was arrested.
The official allegedly used an app called Pure to speak online with a decoy pretending to be a 15-year-old girl, according to an 8NewsNow report.
Pure is advertised as ‘a place where you can make (and break) your own rules and date, play and misbehave.’
The State Department responded to allegations that they allowed the Israeli official to return home after the arrest of an for a felony sex crime.
Alexandrovich ‘did not claim diplomatic immunity and was released by a state judge pending a court date. Any claims that the U.S. government intervened are false,’ the State Department said Monday on the social media site X.
The court records show a $10,000 bond was posted at the Henderson Detention Center, southeast of Las Vegas, on August 7. The records indicate he is due back in court on August 27.
The Israeli Embassy in Washington and the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office did not immediately return messages.
Israeli media quoted the office as denying that Alexandrovich was arrested, saying only that a ‘state employee’ was ‘questioned by American authorities during his stay’ and he had ‘returned to Israel as scheduled.’

MAGA firebrand Greene slammed the State Department in a lengthy post to X that also called on the US to bring in children from Gaza who need life-saving medical treatment

Taylor Greene also called on the US to bring in children from Gaza who need life-saving medical treatment.
‘We need to be the America that allows war torn children to come here for life saving surgeries and the America that never releases a foreign child sex predator that our great LEO’s caught. But in this circumstance those war torn children are from Gaza and this foreign child sex predator is from Israel and works directly for Netanyahu,’ she wrote.
‘I know God does not discriminate in his love for children. Why would we?’
The Las Vegas police statement credited the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Henderson Police Department, the North Las Vegas Police, and the Department of Homeland Security with organizing the undercover operation.
The Nevada District Attorney’s office said that Alexandrovich’s case will be dealt with at the county level in a statement.
‘Last week, Tom Artiom Alexandrovich was arrested in a Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children joint operation; and he was booked into the Henderson Detention Center. This important multi-agency operation targeted child sex predators who preyed upon the most vulnerable members of our communities.’
‘As a result of the operation, the Clark County District Attorney’s Office is handling the prosecution.’
However, on Monday, Interim U.S. Attorney for Nevada Sigal Chattah slammed Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson.
‘The individual who fled our country should have had his passport seized by the state authorities,’ Chattah told 8NewsNow. ‘He must be returned immediately to face justice.’
Wolfson defended Alexandrovich’s treatment as the standard in Nevada.
‘There was no court involvement. There was no prosecution involvement. This is the normal practice. It is very standard in this community and many communities across the country.’
