A busy mum-of-two has excitedly revealed her new favourite way to make sweet potato fries and promises the handy hack saves time and effort.
The mum, who is known for her clever cleaning hacks, popped the thinly slice pieces of sweet potato into her toaster.
She then loaded them with guacamole when they popped out and said her two kids ‘loved’ the impromptu snack.
‘I was today years old when I realised I could cook sweet potato in my toaster,’ she wrote in the video.
‘It’s so easy and healthy,’ she said.

She also asked if anyone else had every tried the hack but was met with a mixed response.
‘I’ve tried this but it hasn’t gone well. I wonder if it depends on your toaster,’ one woman wrote on the post.
Others revealed they would be trying the idea immediately.
‘Amazing, this is fantastic thanks for sharing,’ one mum wrote.
‘This page has the best hacks,’ boasted one woman, tagging a friend.
But some people simply scoffed at the idea.

‘A toaster is a toaster and eventually the sugars from the potatoes will gunk up and burn inside your toaster and how are we going to clean up that mess,’ one person wrote.
‘No way would I put potato in my precious toaster,’ said another.
The video quickly went viral with 111K people seeing it in just three hours.
