Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace is calling for Bill Gates to be subpoenaed over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, following an emotional interview by Gates’ ex-wife, Melinda.
Bill Gates’ name frequently appears in connection with Epstein, and in a recent interview, Melinda expressed that each time the matter resurfaces, it revives ‘painful’ memories of her marriage, which ended in divorce in 2021.
In a post on X, Mace stated, “After watching Melinda Gates’ interview last night, I promptly requested that James Comer, the chairman of oversight, issue a subpoena for Bill Gates.”
“I have questions for Bill Gates about Epstein,” she added.
During her appearance on NPR’s Wild Card podcast, Melinda shared, “It’s beyond heartbreaking. I recall being the ages those girls were, and I think of my daughters at those ages as well.”
“For me, it brings back memories of incredibly painful times in my marriage each time these details emerge,” she admitted.
Mace, a member of the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the Epstein files, is now calling on Gates to testify before Congress.
Comer, the committee chair, on Tuesday announced that Bill and Hillary Clinton would testify over their relationship with Epstein later this month.

The committee last year requested former prince Andrew testify – but as a Briton he cannot be subpoenaed by Congress.
JD Vance in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday backed Republican calls for King Charles’ brother to give evidence, citing recent comments by the British prime minister.
‘I saw Keir Starmer said something about this,’ Vance said. ‘I’m certainly open to it.’
Melinda, who has two daughters and a son with Gates, told CBS: ‘I am so happy to be away from all the muck.’
When asked specifically about how the recent details about her ex-husband’s alleged affairs made her feel, she responded: ‘Sad. Just unbelievable sadness. Unbelievable sadness.’
The Justice Department released more than 3 million documents related to Epstein on Friday, including emails that alleged the Microsoft founder planned to slip Melinda an antibiotic to combat a sexually transmitted disease he contracted from ‘Russian girls.’
The email appears to be drafts of a letter Epstein sent to himself and wrote on behalf of Gates’ then-top advisor Boris Nikolic, around his resignation from the Microsoft billionaire’s charitable foundation.
The lengthy message lashed out at Gates for allegedly ending his friendship with Nikolic and says: ‘TO add insult to the injury you them [sic] implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis.’
Following the release, which contained lurid claims about Gates’s sex life, his spokesman told the Daily Mail: ‘These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false’

Friday’s release included multiple new undated images of Epstein and Gates together
Earlier in the same missive, the email Epstein apparently wrote in Nikolic’s voice said he had been ‘dismayed beyond comprehension’ by Gates’s decision to ‘disregard our friendship developed over the last 6 years’.
The release also included multiple new, undated images of Epstein and Gates together in various locations.
Gates has previously said he regrets spending time with the pedophile, who died in a New York City jail in 2019, but has long denied any impropriety.
A spokesman for Gates told the Daily Mail: ‘These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false.
‘The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.’
Mace has been at the vanguard of Republican efforts to release the Epstein files as one of Capitol Hill’s foremost champions of justice for sexual abuse victims.
The Daily Mail has contacted Comer over whether he plans to call Gates to testify.
