Chelsea hope to have their newly-sponsored kit available for fans to buy in time for their meeting with Arsenal after the international break.

Chelsea’s deal with US-based data company Infinite Athlete was finally confirmed on Saturday, the two parties striking a front of shirt sponsor agreement for the remainder of the season worth more than £40m.

Following announcement of the partnership the club’s women’s and men’s sides wore the shirts, complete with new branding, for their last games against Tottenham and Fulham respectively.

The plain shirts are set to remain available to buy from outlets who still have them in stock.

However the hope is that supporters will soon also be able to get their hands on the branded tops and have the chance to debut them when Chelsea host Arsenal in a London derby on October 21.

Though it is not yet clear if online and in-store release of the shirts will coincide or they will be made available via one route before the other.
