AKRON, Ohio — Playhouse Square has announced four shows for the 2025-26 Broadway in Akron series.

On various dates from September, 2025 through February 2026, EJ Thomas Hall will host each of the four shows seen below.

• The Book Of Mormon: Sept. 30 – Oct. 1, 2025
• Elf The Musical: Nov. 11 – 12, 2025
• Mrs. Doubtfire: Jan. 20 – 21, 2026
• The Music Man: Feb. 18 – 19, 2026

This season marks 10 years of Playhouse Square collaboration with the Broadway in Akron series. Over the decade, season ticket sales have grown more than 220%.

“Reaching the tenth anniversary of Broadway in Akron is a testament to the incredible season ticket holders who have been with us every step of the way,” said David Greene, Senior Vice President of Programming at Playhouse Square. “It’s been a decade of remarkable performances and stories that have touched our hearts. We are thrilled to continue sharing the magic of Broadway with Akron audiences for years to come.”

General public tickets will go on sale at a later date.

Season ticket passes can be purchased on Playhouse Square’s website. Packages range from $80 to $365 and are the only way to guarantee access to all four shows, according to Playhouse Square.
