At a rousing rally in support of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Vice President JD Vance decided to connect the gathering with a familiar voice. With a flick of his cellphone, he attempted to reach President Trump, eager to share a message of support from the former president.
However, the initial attempt was met with an anticlimactic response. A voice message system informed the crowd, “I’m sorry, the person you were trying to reach has a voicemail box that is full.” The momentary glitch, however, didn’t deter Vance. With determination, he redialed, and this time, successfully connected with Trump.
As the phone was placed on speaker, the crowd erupted into cheers when Trump’s voice echoed through the venue. Brief yet impactful, Trump expressed his endorsement for Orban’s re-election campaign. “I love Hungary and I love that Victor,” Trump declared, “I’ll tell you, he’s a fantastic man. We’ve had a tremendous relationship.”
