Two teenagers believed to be runaway young sweethearts are being sought by police after vanishing from their homes. 

Ffion Smith, 13, and her boyfriend Harry Bowra, 12, are believed to be together – and their families are desperate for information. 

Harry has been missing for two days after failing to come home to his house in Blackwood, Gwent. 

Ffion, of Aberdare, is understood to be with Harry and both of their mothers have appealed for information.

Writing on Facebook, Harry’s mother Emma said: ‘Has anyone seen my son Harry Ewan Bowra? Can you let me know asap if you know of his whereabouts plz. He’s been missing for 2 days now.’ 

Ffion’s mother, also called Emma, wrote: ‘If anybody knows anything please get in touch I’m begging

‘I’m f***ing frantic with worry I’ve tried everyone I know her friends must know something I’m begging u to let me know she’s safe.’  

She said that Ffion wasn’t in trouble and she wanted her home. 

A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: ‘We’re appealing for information to locate 13-year-old Ffion Smith who has been reported as missing from her home address in Aberdare and 12-year-old Harry Bowra who has been reported missing from his home address in Blackwood.

‘Officers believe Ffion and Harry may be together and in the Caerphilly County Borough area; Blackwood, Newbridge, Abercarn or Risca. 

‘Ffion is described as white, of slim build, with dark brown shoulder length hair. She is last known to be wearing grey trousers, a black top and colourful trainers. 

‘Harry is described as white, of slim build, with short mousey coloured hair. He is last known to be wearing grey Gym King jogging bottoms and a black jacket. 

‘Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of Ffion or Harry is asked to call 101.’
