CHICAGO (CBS) — Southlake Mall shopping center in Hobart, Indiana, was being evacuated on Thursday, after police responded to a report of shots fired.

Hobart Police said they responded to a report of shots fired inside the mall late Thursday morning, but there is no active shooter and no victims.

“Officers are clearing the mall out of an abundance of caution. There is no threat to public safety at this time,” Hobart Police said in post on Twitter.
