POLICE hunting for the killer of a mum-of-six have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the horror.

Anita Rose, 57, was discovered unconscious with serious head injuries after she was attacked while walking springer spaniel Bruce on July 24.

She was rushed to hospital following the horror in in Brantham, Suffolk, but sadly died four days later.

Police are yet to catch her killer and have launched a huge murder probe in a bid to catch the culprit.

They today released two CCTV images of men they wish to speak to in connection with Anita’s death.

Officers stressed the two people are not suspects in the case but they believe the pair may be able to assist with the investigation.

The images show both men walking through what appears to be a wooded area.

Detective Superintendent Mike Brown stated that through various investigations such as analyzing CCTV footage, conducting house-to-house visits, and interviewing witnesses, they have made progress in identifying individuals they want to talk to regarding Anita’s tragic death.

“It must be understood that we believe they may be able to assist us in our enquiries and are not suspects in this case.

“It’s important we identify and locate these two individuals to get a better understanding of how they can assist the investigation.

He emphasized the importance of any piece of information, no matter how small, in piecing together the events leading to Anita’s injuries and subsequent passing. The authorities urge these individuals or anyone familiar with them to reach out.

Police have also released a map that shows Anita’s last movements after she left her home in Palfrey Heights with Bruce at around 5am.

From there, she made her way to Newmill Lane before doubling back on herself.

A dog walking app she was using to record the journey stopped at around 6.03am as she reached the top of the lane.

Further analysis has shown it was normal for the app to be stopped at this point in Anita’s walk.

Anita was discovered at 6.25 am by a passerby, lying face down on a path near Rectory Lane, situated amidst a railway track and the Anglia Water sewage treatment facility.

Officers were able to locate her iPhone but are still searching for her quilted black wallet-style phone case, which features a gold crown and stud detail.

Anita’s cerise Regatta Calderdale II jacket, which she is believed to have been wearing the morning she was attacked, is also still missing.

A man aged in his 20s and a 45-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail alongside a 37-year-old woman held on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

Suffolk Police said they have trawled more than 100 hours of CCTV footage and taken over 200 statements.

They said they are keen to speak to anyone who saw Anita or anyone else that morning.
