Pink is hospitalized on New Year's Eve as she rings in 2026 from bed

On Wednesday night, pop icon Pink took to Instagram to inform her followers about her recent hospitalization.

The 46-year-old singer posted a cheerful selfie from her hospital bed, where she could be seen with a white bandage on her neck.

In her message to her 11.4 million fans, she said, “Happy New Year’s to everyone. I’m thrilled to bid farewell to the year of the snake and welcome the year of the horse.”

Elsewhere in the caption the singer revealed she had discs placed in her neck: ‘And I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body. It may not be a fancy Face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck.’

Reflecting on her experience, she added, “Another scar, another reminder of how much I value this body and all it can do. Rock ‘n’ roll truly is a contact sport.”

Pink, a mother of two, mentioned that while she’s recovering, her family is off enjoying a snowboarding trip to celebrate the New Year.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pink is married to Carey Hart, who is 50. Together, they have a son, Jameson, and a daughter, Willow, who is 14.

She wrote in her Instagram caption, ‘As I sit here by myself on New Year’s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding- I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made.’

Her thoughtful missive went on, ‘I hope and pray every person can make that wish, have that choice. I know that isn’t a reality for some.’

She vowed, ‘I will work this year to help preserve the choices of others to make for themselves and their families and this very pursuit of happiness. Let’s do better for ourselves and for others.’

Wrapping up the heartfelt note, she said, ‘Happy new year and may you experience more joy than sorrow, more sunshine than rain, more love than hatred. Let’s shed that old snake skin. And find our horsepower.’

In September Pink, real name Alecia Moore, sparked concern when she shared a photo of herself hooked up to an IV.

Explaining the picture to her online audience, she explained, ‘When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine and a vitamin IV concoction.’

She chose to focus on the positive, adding, ‘Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember.’

Pink has been married to Hart since 2006.

In July she shared a gushing birthday tribute to her spouse as she posted a photo of him and their two kids on social media.

The singer-songwriter also shared images of a thoughtful gesture she made — writing out a list of ’50 reasons to love you.’

The proud wife wrote in the caption: ‘Happy birthday @hartluck just thought the world needed 50 more reasons.’

Among the reasons was ‘you’re kind to strangers,’ ‘you show up for your children,’ and ‘you are loyal.’
