Prince Harry and Meghan Markle mysteriously disappeared from an Instagram post shared by Kim Kardashian, featuring moments from Kris Jenner’s extravagant 70th birthday celebration. The reason behind this unexpected edit has now come to light.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the high-profile attendees at the lavish event hosted at Jeff Bezos’ opulent $165 million estate in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

Many followers were baffled when Kim’s photo collection, as well as a post from Kris, omitted the royal couple. This sparked curiosity about their absence from the social media spotlight.

According to a report by People, Meghan and Harry had not consented to having their images from the party shared publicly.

The couple, who were married in 2018, had also declined to sign a photo release form, which led to the removal of their images from both Kris and Kim’s social media accounts.

The Daily Mail sought comments from representatives for Prince Harry, Meghan, and Kim Kardashian, but there was no immediate response.

Shortly after the momager’s 70th birthday celebration in Beverly Hills on Saturday, images of both Harry and Meghan mysteriously vanished from Kim’s Instagram. 

Despite the former working royals giddily being photographed outside the star-studded event over the weekend, confused fans took to Reddit to question why snaps of the pair from inside the party had disappeared.

The deleted images included the SKIMS founder and Meghan posing together while smiling for the camera, as the Duke of Sussex was seen chatting with someone in the background.

Another picture was taken from behind Jenner as Meghan placed her hand on her shoulder, while Harry made a silly face toward her.

Meanwhile, one deleted snap showed Meghan about to greet the boss of Netflix, Reed Hastings, with a hug.

Commenters on Reddit were perplexed by the missing photos as one wrote: ‘Why delete their pic, we saw them at the party?’ 

‘The internet remembers,’ one user wrote as another said: ‘A bit cringe to accept the invite but not want your pics associated with attending (esp when there are pap shots of you going in or out).’

A different Reddit user compared the soiree to 1925 tragic novel The Great Gatsby, which oddly enough was the theme for Jenner’s 60th birthday bash.

The couple – who tied the knot in 2018 – also opted for ‘no’ on a photo consent form, which further prompted the images to be deleted from Kris and Kim’s social media pages

Commenters on Reddit were perplexed by the missing photos as one wrote: ‘Why delete their pic, we saw them at the party?’

They wrote: ‘All these folks, including harry and Meghan are tom and daisy Buchanans – if you’ve read gatsby you know what I’m referring to. They always retreat back into their money.’

Stars flocked to the exclusive event, which was held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $165 million Beverly Hills mansion.

Harry wore a stern expression as he headed into the party while Meghan, holding his hand and trailing just behind him, was aglow with an ear-to-ear smile.

Kim showcased her famous curves in a stunning, two-piece crop top and long skirt made up of sparkly gemstones.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not the only big names at the event as Kris posed with Beyoncé and enjoyed a dance session with Justin Bieber as she shared behind-the-scenes snaps from her Bond-themed bash.

Kris looked gorgeous in her tiered red gown, which she wore with long black gloves for the party.

Also among the celebrity guests were Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg and Gayle King, who were all dressed to the nines for the blowout.

Several of the stars of Kardashian’s new Hulu series All’s Fair joined her to celebrate the big day, including Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash and Teyana Taylor, as well as the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy.

During the birthday festivities, Kris was not only joined by daughter Kim – but her other children were also in attendance including Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall. 

The stylish group paused for a memorable photo together underneath a glow of lavish chandeliers.

The Venice nuptials also brought in a number of A-list celebrities such as the SKIMS founder, Leonardo DiCaprio and Orlando Bloom.
