Priscilla Presley dished on her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s short-lived marriage with Michael Jackson as well as their sex life.

She remembered asking her daughter about rumors of her relationship with the pop star almost three decades ago before they ultimately went their separate ways.

Elvis Presley’s former wife discussed the bond she had with Lisa Marie, their only child together, before Lisa Marie’s death at age 54 in 2023. 

In her new memoir, “Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis,” Priscilla revealed, according to an excerpt acquired by The Sun on Saturday, that she felt less than thrilled when her daughter announced she was marrying the pop icon back in the 1990s.

‘I was appalled by the marriage,’ she confessed in her book, which will be made available to purchase and read on Tuesday, September 23. 

‘I asked her if they had a physical relationship,’ she wrote. ‘Like so many people, I wasn’t sure.’

Priscilla recounted how she previously discussed rumors with her daughter about her relationship with the pop singer nearly 30 years prior to their eventual breakup; they were seen in 1994.

Priscilla added: ‘She said yeah.’ 

Having been married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973 before his passing in 1977, Priscilla confessed she wasn’t impressed with Michael and was skeptical of his motives for getting romantically involved with her daughter.

She said she believed that the pop icon was involved with Lisa Marie because of their family name.

‘I knew in my bones that Michael wasn’t marrying Lisa Marie; he was marrying the Presley dynasty,’ she wrote in her memoir. 

Priscilla also claimed that he was looking for ‘good publicity’ back then after being accused of child molestation, which he vehemently denied.

She noted her daughter believed in his innocence and added that Michael started contacting Lisa Marie amid his child abuse allegations.

‘Michael was a manipulative man, and I think he had his sights set on her long before she realized it,’ she wrote. 

‘The childlike innocence he projected was part of his public mask,’ she added.

She also claimed that her late daughter’s ex was ‘bizarre’ and ‘manipulative’

She said she believed that the pop icon was involved with Lisa Marie because of their family name. ‘I knew in my bones that Michael wasn’t marrying Lisa Marie; he was marrying the Presley dynasty,’ she wrote in her memoir 

She said her relationship with her former son-in-law was ‘bizarre.’ 

She also claimed he would constantly try to avoid her, preferring to spend time with children over adults during family gatherings. 

And Priscilla added that Lisa Marie once told her Michael wanted to have a baby but Priscilla pleaded with her to wait.

Two years later, Lisa Marie filed for divorce after their whirlwind romance and Priscilla said she was relieved. 

‘I could practically hear Elvis sigh with relief,’ she added. 

Lisa Marie previously claimed in her memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, which was written from tapes compiled by her daughter Riley Keough and released in October 2024, that the pop star said he was a virgin when they started dating. 

‘He told me he was still a virgin,’ Lisa Marie wrote. ‘I think he had kissed Tatum O’Neal, and he’d had a thing with Brooke Shields, which hadn’t been physical apart from a kiss. He said Madonna had tried to hook up with him once, too, but nothing happened.’

In the memoir put together and released posthumously by her eldest child, Lisa Marie added: ‘I was terrified, because I didn’t want to make the wrong move. When he decided to first kiss me, he just did it. He was instigating everything.’

‘The physical stuff started happening, which I was shocked at. I had thought that maybe we wouldn’t do anything until we got married, but he said, “I’m not waiting!”‘ 

Following Michael’s split from Lisa Marie, he got married to Debbie Rowe and had two children: son Prince, now 28, and daughter Paris, 27. 

He also welcomed son Bigi, formerly known as Blanket and now age 23, via a surrogate. 

Michael died at the age of 50 in 2009 from a propofol overdose. 

Meanwhile, Lisa Marie was already mother to daughter Riley Keough, 36, and son Ben with her first husband Danny Keough. 

Ben died from suicide at age 27 in 2020. 

Lisa Marie also had twin daughters Harper and Finley, now 16, with her fourth husband Michael Lockwood.
