Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered a black Toyota Land Cruiser utility vehicle, suspected of being stolen, parked in the property’s driveway.
Reports suggest that the vehicle repeatedly rammed into a parked police car until it became stuck in the driveway.
The driver allegedly exited the vehicle and fled on foot heading north along Fleet Street.
Two senior constables sustained minor injuries and were treated medically the following day.
The incident left both the police vehicle and the property with considerable damage.

Police and the dog squad tracked the man and found him hiding in the bush.
The 35-year-old man has since been charged with an array of offences including robbery, four counts of theft of a motor vehicle, eight counts of burglary, five counts of attempted burglary and attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
He was also charged with theft from a motor vehicle, two counts of assaulting police, two counts of reckless conduct causing serious injury, two counts of reckless conduct endangering life, driving in a dangerous manner, damaging an emergency vehicle, criminal damage, unlicensed driving and failing to appear on bail.
He is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
