Prime Minister Scott Morrison is being drilled by the House about his commitment to ensuring women are protected in the workplace.
The demand for action against domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault appears to be a common threat in the questioning of the Prime Minister so far.
The Member of Lindsay, Melissa McIntosh, asked Mr Morrison what he was going to do about improving the safety and economic security of women.
“Yesterday was an important occasion in this place where we acknowledge and apologise for the unacceptable history of workplace bullying, sexual harassment and sexual assault here in Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces. But as we all know, these issues are not isolated to this workplace,” Mr Morrison said.
