Rihanna, typically a style icon, experienced an unusual fashion misstep at the Gotham Film Awards on Monday evening. Joining her on the list of fashion faux pas were Chloe Sevigny and Kristen Stewart. The event, which marks the beginning of the annual awards season in New York City, saw Rihanna in an unexpected ensemble that drew attention for all the wrong reasons.

The 37-year-old superstar donned a peculiar pink dress that many likened to a bed sheet. The choice was surprising, especially for someone known for her bold and often impeccable fashion sense. Accompanying her was her partner, rapper ASAP Rocky, who opted for a more traditional look with an oversized suit.

Rihanna’s dress was a spectacle in itself, characterized by its puffy, off-the-shoulder design and a sweeping train that kissed the floor. To enhance the dramatic flair, she accessorized with black pleather opera gloves and topped off her look with a towering hat adorned with delicate baby pink feathers.

Adding a touch of glamour, Rihanna wore a striking necklace embellished with colorful gems. Her makeup was a harmonious blend of monochromatic pink tones, accentuating her natural radiance and adding a cohesive finish to her daring ensemble.

She added more to look at with black, pleather opera gloves and a tall hat covered in baby pink feathers to complete her look.

A stunning necklace with colorful gems bedazzled her neck, and she looked radiant in a monochromatic pink makeup look to top it all off.

Chloe Sevigny also went for a bold pop of color for the annual award ceremony as she showed up in a bright green, velvet shift dress with a boxy, oversize silhouette that overwhelmed her svelte figure.

She paired the long-sleeved dress, which featured a massive, gunmetal detail around her neck, with sheer tights and dramatically pointy, slingback kitten heels.

The actress and fashion trendsetter, 51, completed her look with her blonde hair pinned up with waves framing her face.

She added a muted mauve lipstick to juxtapose her bright and colorful dress.

Kristen Stewart, 35, walked the red carpet in a cropped blazer with a matching tweed skirt, both a bit oversize for a added casual detail.

A Chanel ambassador since 2013, she paired the gray co-ord with a sheer black top and burgundy leather pumps.

Her jet black hair styled in a messy topknot and blunt micro bangs added an edgy touch to her otherwise business-looking outfit.
