New woe for Eugenie and Beatrice as they ponder Andrew revelations

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice find themselves grappling with another dilemma as they consider their response to the latest revelations concerning their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, from the Epstein files.

This week, reports indicate that the sisters are feeling ’emotionally drained’ by the ongoing scandal that implicates both their father, Andrew, aged 65, and their mother, Sarah Ferguson, aged 66.

The recent release of three million additional documents related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, made public by the U.S. Department of Justice, is likely to increase the pressure on the sisters as they navigate an increasingly challenging public environment.

Among these documents are new photographs of Andrew in a compromising position and emails revealing that he extended an invitation to Epstein to visit Buckingham Palace shortly after Epstein’s release from prison, which could prove embarrassing for the family.

Adding to their challenges, Sarah Ferguson’s effusive email to Epstein, in which she refers to him as the ‘brother I have always wished for,’ has surfaced alongside details of her seeking his assistance for one of her business ventures.

In response to the steady release of Epstein-related files since late 2025, Eugenie, 35, and Beatrice, 37, have noticeably reduced their public interactions with their parents, opting for a more private approach.

One source previously told the Mail on Sunday that Eugenie had cut off all contact with Andrew, likening it to the public falling out between Victoria and David Beckham and their son Brooklyn.

But this was disputed by others in the know, who said the princess – who established The Anti-Slavery Collective to help counter sex trafficking – has no plans to cut off her father completely.

It is no secret however that she is taking a dim view of Andrew’s refusal to apologise to Epstein’s victims, while her sister Beatrice is said to so far be taking a slightly more nuanced approach.

She invited Andrew to the christening of her 11-month-old daughter Athena in London last month, which Eugenie also attended.

A friend of Eugenie’s told the Mail: ‘Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them.

‘Bea and Eug feel very sorry for their parents. They are keeping in touch with them and making sure they’re OK. Both Andrew and Sarah want their daughters to remain part of the Royal Family and were happy for them to spend Christmas in Norfolk.’

While the King stripped Andrew and Fergie of their titles last October over their links to Epstein, he made a point of keeping their daughters in the royal fold and allowing them to retain the titles.

Speaking to Sky News today, royal expert and former BBC journalist Jennie Bond said the sisters must be ‘hugely conflicted’.

‘Their daughters, I think, are hugely conflicted,’ she said. ‘Reports suggests that Eugenie, particularly, who is a champion of the anti-slavery campaign, she’s finding things very, very difficult.

‘Beatrice has been seen out riding with her father recently, so very difficult for both daughters.

‘They must feel very conflicted in their loyalties. Trying times for the family.’

Beatrice recently visited her father in Windsor and even accompanied him on a horse ride with her four-year-old daughter Sienna.

Photographs show a downcast-looking Andrew riding ahead, while Beatrice walked alongside Sienna and a groom.

They spent more than 45 minutes wandering the grounds, and it has been reported that Beatrice also visited her father at his soon-to-be former home, Royal Lodge.

Andrew and his ex-wife Ferguson are being evicted from the 30-room property over their relationship with Epstein, and face moving out in the coming days or weeks.

Removal vans have been seen coming and going at the property, with Andrew understood to be relocating to the smaller Marsh Farm in Norfolk.

Meanwhile the former Duchess of York is said to be in the midst of a ‘housing crisis’ and is clinging on to the hope of finding a new place in Windsor.

While Andrew is begrudgingly off to Sandringham, Ms Ferguson ‘will not be moving in’ because she ‘would prefer to stay in the Windsor area’, a source close to her said.

‘Relations are warmer between Ferguson and the couple’s daughters, but no offer of permanent accommodation has been extended to their mother’, they told The Times.

‘For now, Andrew and Sarah have a housing crisis. It may mean that they have to lower their expectations about the sort of lifestyle they wish to lead.’

Beatrice lives in the Cotswolds while Eugenie splits her time between Kensington Palace and a Portuguese villa so neither can give their mother a roof over her head.

The sisters are said to have offered their mother a place to stay when she needs it – but not permanently.

The couple’s daughters are said to be concerned about both their parents’ mental health, with Princess Anne and Prince Edward also remaining in touch with Andrew over similar concerns.

Andrew and Sarah have been all but ostracised by senior royals including the King and Queen and Prince William.

It comes as photos and emails related to the disgraced paedophile continue to emerge following the release of more than three million documents published by the US Department of Justice on Friday.

In three photographs released last night, a man believed to be Andrew can be seen leaning over the woman who is sprawled face up with their arms spread out.

He is staring directly at the camera in one picture, while in another he has placed his left hand on the female’s stomach.

Among the documents was the revelation that Andrew invited Epstein to dinner at Buckingham Palace days after his house arrest ended.

He promised ‘lots of privacy’ to the paedophile shortly after he was granted his freedom following a conviction for soliciting a minor.

The previous month, Epstein had offered to set up a dinner for Andrew with a ‘clever, beautiful and trustworthy’ 26-year-old Russian woman, saying: ‘She has your email.’

The prince, who would have been 50 at the time, replied that he would be ‘delighted to see her’. And he cheerfully asked the convicted child sex predator, whose house arrest had finished just days earlier: ‘Good to be free?’

There are also new emails relating to Sarah, formerly the Duchess of York, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – including pictures of them from Andrew’s electronic Christmas cards.

Several emails refer to the well-chronicled debts of Sarah – who took money from Epstein to help pay them off. One email sent in August 2009 shows her thanking him for being ‘the brother I have always wished for’.

In another email, Ms Ferguson calls Epstein ‘my dear spectacular and special friend’ and ‘a legend’.
