Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones has put her stunning house up for sale after her 25-year marriage came to an end.
The home she shared with TV executive David Peet, 72, has gone on the market for a tidy £1,150,000.
Jones, 58, known for her role as Nessa Jenkins in the beloved BBC sitcom, separated from Peet some time ago, with the split being announced earlier this year.
She once described the Edwardian property as ‘my favourite place to be’ and said the spacious kitchen was ‘the best bit’.
But the couple have not been seen together at the imposing mock Tudor property in Penylan, Cardiff, for almost two years.
The furniture has been cleared out and what was once a cosy home is now an empty shell.
The pair bought the five-bedroomed semi in 2001 for £325,000 so stand to make a profit of £825,000.
They shared a holiday home on Scotland’s west coast and co-owned a thriving restaurant named Peet’s in Lochinver, where Jones occasionally chipped in.

Since the split, the Stella star has been living in London while Peet has moved to Vancouver, Canada, to be with his new love Jayne Charity Cook, 46.
Welsh actress Jones was stepmother to Peet’s three children from his previous marriage and their relationship was thought to be rock solid.
But there were rumours of a split when friends noticed the Gavin and Stacey creator had stopped wearing her wedding ring.
It was a shock when Cook, a Canadian digital creator and mother of two, revealed on social media she was dating the millionaire Peet.
In June, Jones and Peet released a statement: ‘We parted ways amicably 18 months ago and are now legally separated. Our friendship endures.
‘Since our separation, Ruth is living in London and David is living in Canada where he is in a new relationship.’
The break-up came just as the couple were about to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.
Instead they ended up in the divorce courts with lawyers sorting out the financial split of their vast assets, including the marital home in Cardiff.

The split had come as a surprise to Ruth’s industry friends who believed their marriage was one of the safest in showbiz (pictured in May)

Ruth’s estranged husband David is in a relationship with a 46-year-old woman resembling the Gavin & Stacey star, residing in a small village in British Columbia, Canada.

However, according to Jones, the standout feature of their newly acquired home is the impressive kitchen, which boasts a vaulted ceiling, granite island, and black Aga.
The estate agent makes no mention of the property’s famous owner but describes it as a ‘handsome, three-storey bay-fronted Edwardian style residence, retaining charm and character, sympathetically extended, choice position overlooking Roath Park recreation fields.’
BAFTA-winning Jones, also a best-selling author, threw herself into work during the marriage split and returned to writing with James Corden, co-creator of Gavin and Stacey.
Her iconic character Nessa finally married on-off lover Smithy, played by Corden, in the 2024 Christmas Special of Gavin & Stacey, watched by 12.3million viewers.
The episode, titled The Finale, was the last ever instalment of the comedy classic, which first aired in 2007.
Jones and Corden and the rest of the cast of the final episode are due to be reunited at the National Television Awards at London’s O2 this week.
