The weather will remain mostly clear from the rest of Saturday through Sunday morning. On Sunday, temperatures will start off slightly cooler, reaching the mid to upper 70s across the Bay Area.

Later into Sunday afternoon, we might see some isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm. The rain is expected to taper off after sunset, with temperatures rising to the lower 90s as winds pick up.

As Imelda moves eastward, there will still be a slight chance of isolated showers on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. However, these showers will decrease as the week continues. The breezy conditions will stick around, with low temperatures in the mid 70s and highs in the upper 80s to about 90.

Humidity lowers by mid week as rain chances will be slim to none Wednesday through Friday as lows drop into the low 70s with highs in the upper 80s.

Rain chances will increase a bit next weekend as the breeze dies down and highs approach 90 degrees.

Hurricane Humberto has intensified into a Category 5 storm, with winds reaching 160 mph. Fortunately, it will move to our east, but it might affect Bermuda later in the week and could generate high surf along the US east coast.

Tropical Depression Nine is forecasted to strengthen into Tropical Storm Imelda either tonight or tomorrow and travel a few hundred miles off the Florida coast. Imelda is anticipated to become a hurricane, approach the Carolina coast, and then move eastward into the Atlantic.
