UPDATED WITH FINAL RESULTS (10 PM P.T.): TelevisaUnivision‘s La Casa de los Famosos México Season 2 crowned its winner on Vix following 71 days of a 24/7 livestream.

After ten weeks of competition, the four finalists of the season were Arath de la Torre, Gala Montes, Karime Pindter, and Mario Bezares.

The show became a social media and TV phenomenon, with audiences passionately voting for their favorite housemates and deciding their fate each eviction night.

The season was marred by controversy when advertisers pulled away their sponsorships from the reality competition due to the behavior of contestant Adrián Marcelo, who psychologically terrorized his opponents from Team Mar (Sea). Marcelo eventually left the show amid the controversy.

Team Mar was the audience’s darling, and all five of them were made the finalists of Season 2. Brigitte Bozzo got fifth place, leaving the house mere days before the finale.

La Casa de los Famosos México is based on the Big Brother format created by John de Mol and produced in México by Endemol Shine Boomdog.

Después de 10 semanas de competencia, los cuatro finalistas de la temporada fueron Arath de la Torre, Gala Montes, Karime Pindter y Mario Bezares.

El programa se convirtió en todo un fenómeno en redes sociales y televisión con el público votando por sus habitantes favoritos, decidiendo su futuro en la competencia cada domingo de eliminación.
