Selena Gomez and her husband, Benny Blanco, made a striking entrance at the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, marking their first red carpet outing since tying the knot in a grand ceremony.
The 33-year-old actress, who recently enjoyed an idyllic honeymoon with the acclaimed record producer, dazzled alongside Blanco as they appeared affectionate and at ease at the star-studded gathering.
Their appearance follows a lavish three-day wedding celebration in Santa Barbara just last month, where the couple exchanged vows in a memorable ceremony.
Gomez captivated onlookers in a form-fitting black velvet gown adorned with shimmering silver embellishments around the neckline, ensuring all eyes were on her.
The star of “Only Murders In The Building” complemented her gown with a black velvet blazer draped elegantly over her shoulders and completed her look with stylish black footwear.
Her dark locks were elegantly styled into an updo, parted to the side to showcase her sparkling earrings, adding a touch of glamour to her ensemble.

The couple’s latest outing comes not long after they returned from their ‘perfect’ honeymoon following a lavish wedding.Â
Gomez and Blanco reportedly celebrated their nuptials by going on a road trip along the coast of California and visiting her home state of Texas.

It comes only weeks after the couple said ‘I do’ during a three-day wedding extravaganza in Santa Barbara late last month in September

‘They loved their little honeymoon,’ a source close to the couple told People. ‘They celebrated for days during their wedding and was on such a high.’
The insider also said that the singer and the music producer thought their romantic getaway was ‘perfect’ for them because they got the chance to ‘slow down’ and ‘relax.’
‘They really enjoyed slowing down, going on a road trip to explore and relax,’ the insider said. ‘They drove up the Cali coast and also visited Texas. It was perfect.’
The report comes shortly after the actress admitted she was ‘sobbing’ and fearing the worst in the weeks following their picturesque wedding.
The Only Murders in the Building star married the music maker on September 27 in Santa Barbara, California.
They exchanged vows with their loved ones in a 170-strong, star-studded guest list on a 70-acre private estate.
Gomez wore a total of four bespoke, white dresses, all custom-designed for her by Ralph Lauren.
Big names and bigwigs at the wedding of the year included her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short, Steve Martin as well as her longtime best friend Taylor Swift.

‘This is how I work personally, but [when] something great happens in my life, I expect something bad to happen,’ she told the audience.

‘So instead of being present and saying, “Okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ which I do, I’m always thinking, “Okay, but this could go away tomorrow, so how can I make sure that doesn’t happen?”‘
She said she gets ‘wrapped up’ in an irrational sense of dread.
‘I would say that’s my biggest conflict sometimes when wonderful things happen,’ she said.
‘I got married and then I was sobbing because I was like, “I’m gonna die the next day.” I just think that’s a little life thing.’
