One supporter was seen inhaling a powdered substance during a game between Colombian soccer teams Cucuta Deportivo and Fortaleza FC. 

Cucuta and Fortaleza faced off Friday in a crucial game to decide who would seal promotion to the Colombian top-flight, and the tension of the occasion was seemingly too much for one female fan. 

During halftime, with Fortaleza leading 1-0, the cameras panned across the stands at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogota and captured an apparently compromising moment for one supporter. 

The female fan brazenly took out the bag in front of the rest of the supporters and dipped a small spoon into it before sniffing off it, without realizing she had been caught on camera.

A clip of the moment began circulating on social media, triggering jokes from other soccer fans. 

‘Things go badly for a team when the fans make more passes than the players,’ one social media user posted on X.

Another added: ‘Cúcuta may not have been promoted but she continues and does not lose her aspirations.’

Cucuta went on to lose 2-0 with Fortaleza doubling its lead in the 69th minute of the second leg of the Categoria Primera B matchup. 

The win sealed a 2-1 victory on aggregate for the Bogota-based team and clinched promotion to Colombia’s First Division after six years in the second tier.
