‘It means these actives get locked into the skin layer long-term, where they’re going to bio-stimulate cell regeneration,’ says London skin therapist Debbie Thomas. Her DNA Nanobio Revive Treatment (£195, dthomas.com) uses three tiny, 0.6mm syringes to inject a cocktail of amino acids and vitamins into your upper and lower lids.

It does sting a little and you can end up with tiny bubbles around your eyes and potentially swollen under-eye skin for a few days as the fluid slowly absorbs. But afterwards, your skin will be more hydrated.

Three initial treatments are recommended, plus top-ups every six to 12 weeks to ensure your under-eyes continue to become brighter and less crepey.
