A dramatic scene unfolded as a woman was seemingly abducted in broad daylight, with the entire incident captured by a surveillance camera.
The startling video footage reveals a woman allegedly being taken from a street in Hialeah, right outside the Lake Condominium building, on Wednesday.
Witnessing the alarming event, a bystander quickly contacted the police, convinced they had witnessed a kidnapping, according to a report by Local 10.
Images from the footage show a man and woman standing near a distinctive white Ford F-150, a modified Platinum Edition model with noticeable black rims, police noted.
The authorities have described the suspect as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, dressed in all black, with a blue hat and black sandals.
The Hialeah Police Department issued a statement asking for help in identifying a white female wearing a gray sweatshirt and khaki sweatpants, with long black hair and black sandals.
In chilling photos shared by police, a man can be seen arguing with the woman and gesturing with his hands – before he suddenly grabs her and pulls her towards the truck.
Another snap of the woman shows her glaring up alone, with her hands in her sweatpants pockets, in the only shot where the truck’s rear lights were not lit.

After reviewing the footage, officials concluded that the witness’s troubling account was accurate and added that they believe the pair know each other.
Neighbors at the quiet complex heard cries for help as the woman was dragged into the pickup truck.
A visibly-distraught neighbor, Vivian Sotero, broke down in tears as she spoke to CBS about the alleged abduction, saying it was especially devastating that it happened on the first day of the new year.
Amelia, another neighbor, added to the outlet that the complex has been really quiet for years and is not a place where incidents like this happen.
‘I was scared I couldn’t go back to sleep,’ said Amelia.

Brian Sanz, 27, who has lived in the building for 25 years and is the son of the building manager, told the outlet: ‘I do not recognize the people in the surveillance photos. I can say I have never seen them before, and I am not sure, but I do think they ever lived in this building.’
‘I am a little surprised by what happened. Nothing like this ever goes on here. This is a chill neighborhood. We have not even had any break-ins at apartments.’
Authorities described the alleged abduction as a ‘suspicious incident’ and added their concern is the woman’s safety, according to the Independent.
‘Our primary concern is the immediate well-being of the female involved. Our detectives are working diligently to locate her as quickly as possible to verify her safety,’ said the police in a statement.
Unfortunately, police noted that no missing persons report has matched the unidentified woman’s description at this point, which has made the investigation more difficult.

‘I urge the public not to assume your information is insignificant,’ said Hialeah police Lt. Eddie Rodriguez in statement to the Miami Herald.
‘Any piece of information, no matter how small, may be the missing piece of the puzzle we need to solve this mystery and ensure the safety of this young woman.’
