Fans of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were left shocked on Monday when it emerged they had split after 19 years of marriage.
The Oscar winner, 58, and the 57-year-old musician’s separation was confirmed by Daily Mail, signaling the conclusion of their relationship and family life with their two children.
One notable sign during the couple’s recent wedding anniversary appears to have suggested their relationship was going to end.
Back in June, Nicole posted a sweet photo to Instagram of herself and Keith to mark the milestone and wrote: ‘Happy Anniversary Baby’.
However, Keith failed to share a tribute to his wife on his social media page and reacted to Nicole’s post by simply commenting a love-heart emoji.
He often shares posts expressing his love for Nicole to celebrate their anniversary.

In June 2024, Keith marked the couple’s 18th anniversary by declaring his love for the actress was ‘forever’ alongside a photo of the couple.
Sources have suggested it was a lack of intimacy — as well as their busy schedules — that ultimately led to their split.
‘Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour,’ one source told Daily Mail.
“There was plenty of love between them, and they might not proceed to divorce. Having been together for decades, there’s a chance for reconciliation, but as it stands now, they are no longer a couple.”
It is understood that Keith was the one to instigate the split, with his ‘unhappiness’ in the marriage prompting him to ‘call her out’.
Nicole, however, was ‘blindsided’ by her husband’s intervention, the source said.
Keith’s main complaint appears to have been an increased coldness between the couple.
“The intimacy is lacking; they’re merely going through the motions of marriage. If this separation leads to reconciliation, it would be wonderful, but Keith felt compelled to express his unhappiness,” the source elaborated.

In June, Nicole shared an affectionate photo on Instagram to celebrate their wedding anniversary, but Keith did not post a similar homage to his wife on his social media.

‘She was blindsided, but we shall see how things go during the holiday season and his upcoming birthday [next month]. They have some work to do.’
Daily Mail reached out to representatives for the pair who have been unavailable for comment.
Nicole and Keith share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Earlier this month, it emerged that Nicole was spending a small fortune each month to live in a stately London home away from Keith.
The actress has been in England filming the Practical Magic sequel and has been staying at a lavish Hampstead mansion that was once owned by pop star Boy George.
The stately manor reportedly costs the Moulin Rouge actress $87,288 per month in rent, with Keith notably absent from the property.
Although filming for the Practical Magic sequel in the UK has concluded, Nicole seems to be “getting comfortable” in the “dream home,” according to Woman’s Day.
Her country singer husband is currently travelling across the US and Canada with his High and Alive tour until mid-October.
