A popular fashion influencer has mysteriously vanished in Mexico, just hours after sharing a chilling video of herself crying in clown make-up.
Flor Marian Izaguirre Pineda, more commonly referred to as Marian Izaguirre, was last observed at approximately 6pm on Monday, September 1, in Uruapan, a city situated to the west of Mexico City.
The 23-year-old social media star, who commands an audience of nearly 4 million followers on TikTok, has not been heard from since.
The day before her disappearance, Izaguirre posted a haunting video to her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
In the unsettling clip, she is seen sitting in what appears to be a park, with her face painted like a clown while tearfully lip-syncing to the emotional song ‘Why Are You Leaving?’
She has not been active on any of her platforms since.
Authorities have now issued an Alba Alert – Mexico’s emergency protocol for locating missing women – and confirmed they believe the young influencer ‘may be the victim of a crime.’
The Michoacán State Attorney General’s Office is leading the investigation, as concern continues to grow among Izaguirre’s followers.

Her final post has since been flooded with emotional messages from fans: ‘I hope you’re well and that you appear soon,’ wrote one user.
Another pleaded: ‘She’s gone, we want her alive,’ while a third urged: ‘We have to make some noise so they can find her.’
Many described her as warm and kind. One fan wrote: ‘I sincerely hope they find her soon. She was a very good person; she was always very nice to everyone.’
Izaguirre had recently begun expanding her online career into music under the name Flor Izaguirre, with her debut single Boom Boom released in July 2023.
Her disappearance comes just days after the horrifying death of another Mexican influencer, 32-year-old Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay, whose body was discovered wrapped in plastic in a parked pick-up truck in Michoacán on August 22.
She had also been active in fashion and lifestyle content on TikTok, though with a smaller following of around 40,000.

The bodies of Garibay’s husband and two young children were also found inside the vehicle.
Investigators believe the murder may have been connected to her husband’s alleged ties to organised crime.
Although authorities have not linked the two cases, both women were prominent influencers and both vanished – or were found – under grim circumstances in the same troubled state.
Izaguirre’s final video does not reference drugs or organised crime, unlike some of Garibay’s posts which featured narcocorridos, Mexican ballads known for glamorising the drug trade.
Police are urging anyone with information about Izaguirre’s whereabouts to come forward. The investigation into her disappearance remains ongoing.
