Basketball sensation Mamadou N’Diaye dwarfed 6ft 4 inch Erling Haaland when he posed with the striking superstar after Manchester City’s match against West Ham on Saturday.

The former UC Irvine player stands at a towering 7ft 6 inches and put Haaland and his team-mates in the shade during his trip to the London Stadium.

Haaland is among the tallest players in the Premier League and coupling his imposing presence with ferocious speed played a vital role in his record-smashing goalscoring form for Man City last season.

But the most eye-catching presence in the photograph was Bernardo Silva: standing at 5ft 8 inches, the Portuguese midfielder is nearly two feet shorted than N’Diaye.

All four men posed with beaming smiles as the Man City players revelled in their 3-1 comeback win against the Hammers on the road, and N’Diaye enjoyed his vacation in London.

N’Diaye also met with Manuel Akanji, picking up the player’s match shirt, before taking a tour of the stadium and practising keepy-ups on the West Ham badge.

The sportsman also shared pictures from his sightseeing around the British capital as he took in central London and various museums.

N’Diaye cheekily posed next to a red telephone box, the clever angles of the camera making it seem as if the player was almost as tall as the London street icon.

In reality, London telephone boxes stand at 8ft 3 inches.

Football isn’t the only sport that N’Diaye, who last featured for Mexican side Correcaminos UAT Victoria, has taken in and shared on his globetrotting Instagram.

The player was a delighted attendee at this year’s Miami Grand Prix, watching Max Verstappen beat team-mate Sergio Perez at the Miami International Autodrome in May.

N’Diaye previously posed with AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda on a night out in Dubai at the start of the year.

There is a whopping two feet and three inches between the two men, with the diminutive 5ft 3 inch driver frequently finding himself the butt of lighthearted height teasing at the hands of his fellow racers.
