Angela McColl, the former spouse of YouTube personality Spanian, has revealed her plans to step into the digital spotlight with her own YouTube channel, focusing on culinary content. The 37-year-old announced her new venture in a video shared on her Instagram Stories this past Wednesday.
McColl, who was married to Spanian—known off-screen as Anthony Lees—for two years, addressed her followers with excitement about the upcoming project. “I’ve received quite a few messages after people saw my photo with a GoPro yesterday,” she shared.
“Yes, I’m launching my own YouTube channel, and it will revolve around food,” McColl confirmed, hinting at a fresh start in the online world following her recent split from Spanian three months ago.
This new endeavor places McColl in friendly competition with her ex-husband, whose own channel, “It’s All Eats,” features food reviews. Embracing the challenge, she seems ready to carve out her niche in the food-focused digital space.
To kickstart her channel, McColl filmed her first review at the Sydney Fish Market earlier this week. She promised her followers that she would announce when the video goes live, inviting them to join her on this new culinary journey.
Ms McColl said she’d filmed her first review while visiting the Sydney Fish Market on Tuesday and planned to let her fans know once it’d been published.
‘I’m just going to shoot my shot. I’m actually really funny, that sounds cocky saying that, but I’m kinda funny,’ she said, laughing while looking at someone to the side of the camera.
‘And you guys will see… my personality in the videos,’ she said.

Ms McColl has kept a fairly low profile ever since she announced her split with Spaniant in an Instagram post on October 2.
At the time of their separation, their son was about four months old.
‘Who the f**k did I marry and have a kid too [sic] will be out shortly, shout-out to @spanian.official,’ McColl wrote, before promptly deleting the post.
About four weeks later, Spanian went public with his new girlfriend, 22-year-old Sydney woman Ava Jean Walker, posting a cosy Snapchat photo of the pair with the Harbour Bridge in the background.
Spanian explained in a subsequent video that he was ‘clearly separated’ from Ms McColl and that it was a simple case of two people changing and ‘fall[ing] out of love’.
Just days ago, Spanian shared a picture of Ms Walker preparing to get his name tattooed on her left arm.
The new couple had previously been spotted enjoying a romantic Christmas Eve dinner in the upmarket Sydney suburb of Balmain.
