Experts say migrating salmon are attracting the predators to the coastline.
Photographer Talina’s Brown drone caught at least 30 bronze whaler sharks feeding on a massive school of fish at Sleaford Bay, near Port Lincoln.
The incredible footage, filmed over the weekend, shows the bronze whalers coming within 100m of the shore.
Experts say the sharks are hunting along the coastline for a reason.
Shark expert, Andrew Fox, said : “This is the time of the year where bronze whalers influx into our area and feed on big schools of Australian salmon which are a big food source.”
Some locals have reported seeing other predators in the area and Mr Fox says that is a possibility.
“There are smaller, juvenile great whites that eat the same sort of food as the bronze whalers, so it wouldn’t be surprising,” he said.
