Daniel John Orlovsky best known as Dan Orlovsky was born on 18 August 1983, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the United States of America. As of now, he is 38 years old and he is a citizen of America. Dan was the 145th pick in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL draft. In a 12–10 Lions loss to the Minnesota Vikings on October 12, 2008, he made his first career NFL start. He also started the final game of the 2008 season but was unable to lead his team to a victory. He was signed by the Houston Texans on March 1, 2009.

Moreover, he was beaten out for the backup quarterback position by Rex Grossman during the preseason and ended up as the Texans’ number three quarterback. Grossman was traded to the Washington Redskins the following season, and Dan was promoted to backup quarterback.

On July 30, 2011, Dan signed a free-agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts. On December 18, 2011, he and the Colts defeated the Titans in their first game of the season (after starting 0–13). He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on March 15, 2012. The Buccaneers cut Orlovsky on April 4th of the following year but re-signed with them on April 4th of the following year.

He joined the Detroit Lions as a backup quarterback to Matthew Stafford on April 2, 2014. Moreover, Dan signed with the Los Angeles Rams on July 20, 2017. He was released by the team on September 2nd, 2017. He announced his retirement on October 11th, 2017. As of now, he is a football analyst at ESPN.
