On Monday, Taylor Swift enthusiasts found themselves in a frenzy due to a mysterious hint from Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast, leading them to believe the pop icon might finally make an appearance on the popular show.
Swifties have long dreamed of a blockbuster appearance from the pop sensation, 35, on football’s most famous siblings’ podcast, ‘New Heights’.
The eager fans have consistently seized upon any announcements about special guests from the show’s social media accounts, only to be let down when individuals like Adam Sandler, Shaquille O’Neal, or Brad Pitt appeared instead.
However, undeterred, the ever-loyal fans of the songstress believe their wish could finally be granted this week.
On Monday, the official X account for New Heights teased that the podcast would return from its brief summer hiatus for a single episode featuring a ‘VERY special guest’.
However, the post did not disclose who this special guest would be for the episode airing at 7pm ET on Wednesday, as the promotional image obscured the identity, showing them as an outline, while Travis and Jason were clearly visible.

Despite the podcast’s attempt to keep the guest’s identity secret, fans of Swift believed the silhouette belonged to her, noting her relationship with Travis that has lasted over a year.
Additionally, some speculated that a hint was in Jason’s attire, as they noticed the retired Philadelphia Eagles star wore a t-shirt from Swift’s merchandise collection.
Meanwhile, some claimed that there was a major Easter egg in the episode’s release date, the 13th, which happens to be Swift’s favorite number.
‘That looks like a Taylor silhouette if I’ve ever seen one,’ one fan account replied to the New Heights post.
‘the orange glitter background, [Travis’s] smile…i’m too scared to believe but i think yes,’ another hopeful fan wrote.
Many Swifties believe that orange will be the new color scheme of the 14-time Grammy Award winner’s 12th studio album ‘era’.
‘YALL WEARING TAYLOR SHIRTS. The background is sparkly orange. Oh my god,’ a third agreed.
‘WAIT WHY IS JASON WEARING A TAYLOR SHIRT,’ one seemingly over-excited fan posted, while another pointed out that ‘Wednesday is the 13th!!!!!’
New Heights attempted to keep the guest anonymous but Swifties were adamant
For others, the adoring way that Travis happened to looking in the promo graphic left them convinced that the only person the guest could possibly be was his A-List girlfriend.
‘THE ERAS MERCH. AN IN PERSON TRAVIS EPISODE. HIS LOOK. oh my god,’ one claimed.
‘that’s a female and travis only looks at one person that way…,’ another insisted, clearly inferring that it was Swift.
While the Kansas City Chiefs star has frequently opened up on his relationship with the ‘Fortnight’ singer on the podcast, Swift herself has yet to make an appearance.
However, Jason, who retired from the NFL at the end of the 2023 season, has refused to rule out the possibility of Swift joining her beau on the show.
Speaking at an Amazon event on the Upper West Side of NYC in May, the former center was asked who he’d like to have most on the podcast.
‘Anybody we get a chance to talk to, I’m super excited about,’ he replied. ‘It’s a unique world where Trav and I get to talk to childhood heroes and people that we looked up to in the entertainment world, or in the sports world; some of the guys and women that are at the top of their game currently.
‘I think that’s one of the things that people really like about the show, is the family aspect of it; the brotherhood,’ he added. ‘I think a lot of that people can relate to, so. But, yeah, always exciting to get Mom on.’
In response, the interviewer noted: ‘We’d love to have Taylor Swift on as well…’
Kelce then stayed coy with his response, replying: ‘You and a lot of other people… for sure.’
