ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Crews are working to contain a brush fire off of CR-214 in St. Johns County on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Florida Forest Service, the “Carter Fire” has burned 20 acres and is about 75% contained as of 4:45 p.m. Smoke could reportedly be seen in the area.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue officials said structures had been in danger, but the flames were eventually contained to a wooded area.
