A stabbing near a park in San Marcos left a teenager injured Tuesday afternoon, sheriff’s officials said.

The stabbing was reported about 5 p.m. on South Rancho Santa Fe, south of state Route 78 near Bradley Park.

The 16-year-old victim, whose gender was unavailable, was taken to a hospital for treatment, Lt. Ryan Wisniewski said.

Deputies were searching for multiple suspects, who reportedly took off on bicycles, Wisniewski said. No further information was immediately available.
